Received this phone and it is defective, will not make calls or send texts and yes it has a new sims card and it’s activated. Bought this phone but a different color for my other son and it works ok but it’s so slow and has connection issues do not recommend. They will not take the product back either.

It's a very good

For the price, this phone will get the job done for someone that mainly just needs a phone for calls and limited apps. It arrived same day, which was impressive. Be aware this has a separate battery, and you will need to take the back off the phone and retrieve the battery from under the packaging; this is also nice, because if the battery goes bad you don't need to replace the whole phone.The cons: its pretty slow from the start; for example, if you click a box to type, it can take a couple seconds for the keyboard to pop up. Storage is limited, BUT you can add an SD card I believe. Storage needs to be noted because our phone immediately loaded with so many apps, even though we deselect all the ones they tried to push. The apps also took excessively long to download. The case was a bit misaligned; it doesn't look like much in the picture, but it is right at the port and so sometimes the charging cable seems plugged in but is slightly blocked and doesn't charge.Only used for a day, will update as needed.

Bought this because our 5yo LG phones finally quit right before the holidays. With the TMobile sim, I get calls and texts, but no data. It's a little slow and there's not a lot of space, so a micro SD is a must. There are a lot of duplicate apps that duplicate other preprogrammed apps, so as soon as you sign in to Google, I recommend turning off Wifi to disable all the junk before it bogs down the phone.After setup and disabling the junk, though, it's definitely worth the money. My spouse Frankensteined the LGs to be usable to him, so the extra went to our oldest. No sim, so we got her a call/text app for at home. I like the parental controls. This is a good first phone for youngins and a good enough phone for SAHP/student. Price is good, phone is good, I'd recommend it again.

Didn’t work well

I purchased this phone for my 10 yr old kid as a "TESTER" phone.Positive: The phone looks/feel good and sturdy considering the price point, it came in a nice box with charging cable, power brick and a nice protective case for the phone.Negative: I have never had SO many issues trying to set up a phone. I recived it last night (1/17) and began what normally is a few minutes of set up. All seemed to be going ok until the phone shut down and restarted itself about 75% into the setup, and gave me the image(s) in this post. I assume it was user error so decided to do it all-over again; 4 more time, later, at approximately the same completion percentage, it did the same thing - I tried one final time and finally it worked! Let the phone rest over night and today, when setting up some apps for my kid, the phone froze in the middle of logging into Spotify, it restarted and gave me the same erro message I received 4 time yesterday.Maybe we go a Lemon, but regardless I will be returning it first thing to morning.Again, it appears to be a pretty good phone (if it works) but I also have to realize and taken into consideration what I paid for it.Please be cautious, and if you purchase this phone, I hope it works as intended for you.-Mike

Great phone excellent price. I got a defective unit which happens with many purchases,not big issue but I sent message to seller. I got an immediate return kit. Best part is after I did return they mailed out a new phone before I had to return defect, now that's Customer service at its best. Replacement Phone works perfect it's a quick easy to use no issues at all. I've bought more expensive phones that didn't work this good for much more. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!
