I love this. First of all, it's way sharper than the very old one I had been using. I especially like that it uses an electrical cord that plugs into a wall outlet (be sure to use a heavy duty extension cord), instead of needing to be charged up constantly. And - I used it for an hour, and the plug did not come out of the connector, which was a major problem with my old one. It's lightweight and somewhat small, so easy to hold and maneuver by this 95lb female. I could even hold it with one hand to reach certain areas. I'm using it to trim Asian jasmine and small tree seedlings, and light shrubbery, and it works super well. I have a feeling it would cut larger stems, too. Very happy.

This trimmer is a beast! Lightweight, easy to handle, and slices through branches like butter. Perfect for small to medium-sized hedges. I got my entire yard done in no time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable trimmer!

I recently purchased my first house and needed some tools for lawn care. The previous owners allowedthe hedges to go a little too crazy in shape and began to protrude past portions of the garage whichwould scratch against our cars.I added some hedge shears for $30 into my cart and was about to purchase it as I figured electric wouldbe too expensive. I was extremely surprised to see the BEHT100 listed for $37 with free shipping. Ifigured the worst-case scenario is that the BEHT100 is not the greatest, but for only $7 more I would give it a shot. Plus, it seemed to have good reviews.The box arrived and unfortunately the weather was not cooperating. Much to the annoyance of myfiancée I got to pretend to be Tim “the Tool Man” Taylor while opening it up and pretending to give thecat a haircut. Neither were amused. That’s when I noticed it did not come with a cord.So just a heads up that you need to either have an extension cord or buy one. I purchased a 16AWG50FT cord for ~$17 which works great. Plus, it will come in handy later on in life.Finally, the weather was nice, and I got to test it out. The instructions did showcase how to best use it,but I did elect to watch some YouTube videos as well. Overall, I was more than satisfied with the performance, especially compared to the price. I added some before and after photos. Photo of the product leaned up against a gallon of paint for a size reference.It is easy to operate one handed and still manipulate the Lock Off button with your thumb and activatethe trigger with your hand. The result looks pretty good too for a first timer. There were a few largerbranches that didn’t cut as well, but I believe they were larger than the recommended cutting size. I wasable to break them off and continue finishing the job.My initial impression has been great overall and I look forward to getting to use it more often nextsummer! I hope to be able to edit this review later on to have more experience on the reliability & longevity of the product, but for now I have no complaints.

The wife wanted this to trim some ground cover on a hill that grows taller than wanted. This trimmer worked great on it. We also have some giant Chinese grass that grows to about 10feet tall and the stalk get about a half inch in diameter. I’ve been cutting them down when they die out, otherwise they blow apart in the wind and leave the long grass parts all over the place. Tried the trimmer on them and it cut them pretty easily. Saved a bunch of time compared to cutting with hand clippers. The only drawback might be that the hand guard doesn’t come attached because it won’t fit in the box with it attached. Don’t know if it’s really needed as I don’t see much chance of it kicking back like a chain saw.

This light weight trimmer hits a home run. Great for homeowners with front yard trimming. Cuts sharply with ease. I admit I did expect much but was surprised and happy with the quality, ergonomics, lightweight of this. My finished plantings looked like they got shaved rather than cut; the cuttings are so fine. Easily cut thru wood plants branches up to 3/8” each. Would recommend to a friend. Verified purchase

i was concerned that this would be bulky and heavy to replace my old worn out trimmer with. not so! i was wonderful. light because the case is plastic. quicker being longer than my old ones. efficient being so much sharper. corded so the power is consistent throughout use,

I got this because my hedges were getting too tall and too big to do with my shears. I have never used one of these before and I love it! They replaced my shears and made cutting my bushes so easy and way more precise. My arms got a little tired from holding them up in the air, but it is way lighter than a trimmer with a battery. The reason I got this one was because it weighed less than other trimmer and I was able to hold it in the air longer since it was lighter. Love it and worth the price.
