Nordic WareCharlotte Cake Pan, 6-Cup/1.4 Liters, Toffee

Can’t wait to try to make a cheesecake in this. I love these pans. They make what you bake not only taste good but look fabulous.

I received this wonderful pan quickly, considering it was an international order. Although daunted by its many curves and indentations, I simply used a paper towel dabbed in butter (instead of the oil and flour spray called for in the recipe). Following the pan recommendations, I used cocoa, instead of flour, which worked perfectly. As can be seen, the cake easily slipped out of the pan. Great item-I'm so pleased with my purchase! Nordic items are the best: quality and design-wise.

I bought this to make some lovely little sponge cakes and it worked like a dream. The pattern is classic and beautiful. I own mostly Nordic Ware for baking and I love every single piece! This is not a very large pan just to note for baking.

I loved this pan enough that I just order a second one.Heads up that it holds a little more than HALF A BOX CAKE, which is why I ordered a second one. After reading reviews I had a second pan that makes seven mini cake ready for the inaugural bake, so it was no problem to me.I love the depression area, which is where I put the pineapple brown sugar concoction as you can see in the pictures.When I get my second pan, I’m going to put orange marmalade in the depression, pour chocolate ganache over it, then stack a second one on top and repeat. I think it’ll be delicious!It baked evenly, and I was worried it wasn’t going to release despite my using Baker’s Secret spray, but I left it upside down on the cooling rack when it wouldn’t come out after the 5 minute cooling period, and it slipped out beautifully after five more minutes.Highly recommend the pan!

I have used this pan several times in the past month. It is somewhat difficult to "grease and flour"--you have to use a baking spray to get it all. It can be a little tricky to clean all the nooks and crannies, so soak it. But it works well, bakes a beautiful cake, and releases with none of the cake sticking at all. It seemed a little small to me, but it is the size that every one of my recipes for charlottes called for, so that was just ignorance on my part.

This is my first and only piece of Nordic ware and I am impressed. I got this for smaller cakes, I have made a sponge cake in it (Entertaining with Beth recipe) and it worked out great, put the homemade whipped cream and raspberries on top. I intend to do a chocolate tort soon. The mold makes the presentation look attractive. The first one I received from Amazon was scratched up and the replacement was fine. This will not hold a full size box cake mix, but I found a Chicago Metallic Maryann pan for that. It is much thinner than the Nordic ware. If Nordic ware came out with a larger one of these, I'd buy it instead to have on hand for box mixes but this is the only piece they make in this style.

The attached photo is of a made from scratch Cherry Chocolate Chip cake that was still baking 10 minutes ago. Despite my recipe being fat free, my single layer cake flipped out of this Nordic Ware pan absolutely perfectly! 25 minutes at 350 degrees (without convection on) and then 10 minutes cooling before turning over produced a result worthy of a fancy dinner. Goodbye, plain rectangular bakeware! Nordic Ware makes my effort look spectacular! This heavy duty nonstick pan was surprisingly easy to clean, too. Overall, I love it! Thanks, Nordic Ware! ❤️

Nice! Made a decent round loaf which my wife transformed into a delicious dessert! Recommend!
