Worked immediately once batteries were installed - no programming needed
I got this as a spare/backup remote for our new TCL QM8 TV that we got late in 2023. At the time I got it, there were no exact matches for remotes available anywhere. I saw this a few days ago and the picture looked exactly like my existing remote so I bought it. I am glad I did. I added batteries and it worked immediately - no pairing or programming necessary.

TCL RC813 Remote works as additional pair to TV
I bought an additional RC813 remote for the TCL 58S470G TV. The TV was purchased in Costco by December 2023 as a Christmas present. Otherwise, this remote works right away when the batteries are inserted if you already paired your previous remote to the TV. We had no issues so far. It is great to have two remotes that both work with the TV. Thank you!
