Good one
I recently purchased the RGBlink Mini Pro, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Right out of the box, I was impressed by its solid build quality. The buttons and controls feel sturdy and reliable. This switcher is easy to use, making it perfect for newcomers to live streaming. One of the main reasons I chose this switcher was because of its built-in screen, and I'm pleased to say that the user interface is really easy to navigate. I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use it, thanks to its intuitive design. Plus, if I ever needed extra guidance, the included manual was super detailed and helpful.Even though I haven't had the chance to try out all of its features yet, I'm already impressed with what I've seen. Overall, I highly recommend the RGBlink Mini Pro to anyone in need of a live streaming switcher.

The Value is Excellent and the Pic in Pic works very well.
The unit is very compact. It functions well. The limitation of HDMI only (no SDI inputs) is clearly delineated in the description. We use two different Black Magic Systems. I consider this simpler to use. It is an excellent value. The screen is tiny, similar to the Black Magic unit. However, it is readable and functional. I would definitely purchase it again.

Do not buy! Software issues ...
The product looks good out of the box but is very challenging to set up. The software refuses to upload onto my computer, rendering the unit useless. The exe prompt runs but skips the installation every time even with the firewall off and multiple restarts. So, my streaming software can not find it, so I can't use it. I have made multiple attempts at different times. I recently contacted customer support, who sent me the same link I have consistently tried. This was a waste of money.

Does mix video exactly as advertised but seems to slight change the color
I did not like the fact that the output color is slightly brighter than the source.

Great HDMI switcher for the price
The product performs exactly as anticipated. Preview screens built in. I particularly enjoy the capability to operate the device even without a preview monitor. I'm delighted that I quickly connected to the xpose mini software through video tutorials. I recommend it.

Not Reliable
This is a great little unit when it works properly. But on the two occasions that I’ve used it, it has failed.First, recording to a thumb drive just doesn’t work. After the live recording of a football game I placed the thumb drive in the computer and the files were corrupted. The second time, I couldn’t get the unit to stay in record mode.Second, in trying to record to the computer though the USB, the video would freeze up and only record the audio.Third, when recording, the unit records a white box in the top left of the screen which makes the recording useless. And last, the unit needs an easier/quicker way to put it in record mode.It may work great on short recordings, but not for hour long events such as a game or worship service. I’m very disappointed in this item.

Initial impressions: There's alot to like, and some things not working
Let me preface this review with disclosure that I am a professional photographer, and an intermediate videographer. I have always enjoyed video work, and have owned some nice cameras, but due to my business and the need for marketing and online exposure, I've forced myself to learn more. I own a DJI Ronin 4d camera and some great audio equipment. I have an event in which I needed to do some live streaming, and thought I'd give this box a try.First, let's discuss the PRO's: It's small. It's lightweight and it performs nicely. I spent about 4 hours doing live video switching and NEVER ran into any of the heat issues others have discussed. In fact, I turned off the fan for about an hour because I didn't want it interfering with the audio on my shoot. Even then it didn't overheat. It pretty much works as billed. You can input as many as 4 HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. It also has a USB 2.0 port for recording to an SD card. These all worked flawlessly. The options are fairly sparse, but I say that as a good thing. The menu is simple and intuitive and isn't caught up with too many options or settings. Just enough, I'd say.You can also output your video to your laptop via a USB 3.0 cable and it acts as a webcam to allow you to stream to virtually any service. I had little to no issues with all of the things addressed above. Now to the "MEH" part of the review. Some things I wasn't overly impressed with: I did some nice chroma video overlay. It did a pretty admirable job replacing my background, but it took some tweaking and a bit of a learning curve. The touch screen is so small that it's almost impossible to use the sliders without moving them far more than you intended. The biggest issue I encountered is that you cannot do chroma AND PIP, which is a pretty significant disadvantage. In other words, If you are doing green-screen, you cannot use that in a Picture-in-Picture overlay. This would have been really handy. Additionally, switching back and forth between PIP is fairly counter-intuitive if you're trying to decide which picture to be in which picture. It takes some learning and I'm not sure I have it fully yet.Now for the cons: I cannot get the PC software to work. I have set up an ethernet connection between the device and my PC. I can PING the address. I can even use their upgrade utility to upgrade the firmware on my device from my computer. But that's where it ends. They offer xpose software for this product that is SUPPOSED to allow you to access all the functions on your laptop, which would be amazing, because the device screen is so tiny. However, the software can NOT find my device, even though I have verified proper installation. One other note of concern is that Windows flatly refused to install this software, saying it was a security risk. When I overrode the objections of windows, it STILL didn't install, but pretended it did. I had to open the setup utility as an administrator and override windows objections to install this software. Who knows what is installing on my system?? I took a chance and installed it anyway, only to find that it cannot find my device. I even went into windows firewall and opened ports for it. Still nothing.I contacted RGB link support explaining the problem, and 24 hours later they replied by sending me a link to install the same software I already installed. WHATTT??Also, the USB 3.0 cable, which is type A on both ends (not common) is not even a foot long. More like 8 inches. Completely useless. IThere's no way to connect it to anything, being so short. had to go to best buy and buy one because it's not a common cable type.So... in summary. Device does the job. Good bargain for the money. Connection to PC via their software is a non starter. Concerned about the security risks of the software. And the customer support appears to be pretty terrible.I'll update this review if I get any new updates from the manufacturer, or if I experience anything else. I'll be using it all weekend for 2 days straight, so I'll report any other issues that arise.
