Good quality unit - looks great when assembled
This was my first solo flat pack build and I'm very pleased with the finished unit. Assembly was a little tricky, partly because I did do it solo (the instructions actually recommend 2 people and at some stages in the process a second pair of hands would have been very useful) and partly due to the number of shelves and supports needed to build each pigeon hole - keeping them all aligned square was quite a challenge. That said, each part was present and labelled and due to being well packaged, undamaged. The instructions were easy to follow and the finished unit looks really nice, is stable and sturdy and houses my DVD collection perfectly.I'm so impressed with the quality that I have now ordered two 'Chak' units from the same seller for my CDs. These are smaller than the Pigeon-Hole unit and look as if they will complement my DVD storage perfectly - should also prove less of a challenge for a solo builder!

Straightforward build.
I bought two of these and built them in four hours, two hours each. All the parts fitted well and the resultant storage units are strong and neat.I chose to only glue one end of the dowel pins, so that I could potentially disassemble the units for moving later. Give the dowels a good tap in with a mallet so that everything fits. I also built one side of the units and once screwed together it can be rotated onto that side so you can put the other side together at the top. Saves a bit of space during the build. While it is described as a two-person job, it can be done by one. You just need 2 sturdy screwdrivers, the aforementioned handy mallet and follow the instructions. A couple of dowels are longer for the connecting the top to the bottom. Take care with the screw in parts so as not to mess up the wood.Very pleased with the results. Lots of space for DVDs.

nice unit
unlike some other reviewers, I found the best way to assemble this is to work thru the instructions in sequence. they appear quite complicated, but once you get going, the method of assembly falls into place and makes perfect sense. I'd say it's a quality product. all the correct materials and bits and pieces were there and all the holes matched up perfectly. I found there is no need to secure it to a wall as the footed base is stable. I would say, tho, that assembly is much easier with 2 people. It took us 2 hours.

Good Unit
My bad for not reading the description properly. I bought 2 of these for VHS videos (I'm so like 80's), but the holes are about 3 cm too short for them. DVD's fit nicely though. About 90Mins to build, and quite tricky, although the instructions are clear. Well made, no missing parts, and look very nice when assembled. Would look good just as a general display unit. Recommended.

Sturdy Unit
Sturdy nice looking unit, reasonable cost, plenty of storage for DVD's.My only gripe is the assembly instructions, either written by a completeidiot or someone who has never assembled the unit (probably the latter)The shelves have zero mechanical strength until they are 'sandwiched'betrween two boards. Following the assembly instructions gives you tenfloppy 'ears' covered in glue to juggle with.If you do buy this unit, assemble the centre sections only and attach together, then assemble one side (5 floppy shelves) then the other side (5 floppy shelves)Finally fitting the back panels, base and top.

Very disappointed.
Was very disappointed in these units and the company , it had dowes missing out of the packaging . I hadto BQ to buy 6mm dowes to finishing building these units. This is not not very good when you pay£89.99 for one unit . Wanted to buy another . No way now

Nice unit
Nice unit, but difficult to assemble on your own, although I did manage it eventually, but could have done with an extra pair of hands.Once done, looks really good.

CD/DVD Storage Unit
Every part has to be glued, though instructions are easy to follow only one piece of wood had the corresponding ‘letter’ on it making it awkward to put together.Have purchased other storage unit from Amazon before that don’t require glueing and in my view a lot better.
