Excellent projector
I previously had a £200 projector. The upgrade to this meant I had a lot of expectations, but they have all been met.The image quality is superb, even when just projecting onto a white wall, rather than a dedicated screen.Audio isn't brilliant, but like most users (I suspect), I am hooking this up to a soundbar, so that's not an issue.I'm using it exclusively to watch films. It really creates a great cinematic experience in my lounge, and I am very happy with it.

Good, but not perfect
I decided to upgrade my Full HD Epson projector to a 4K projector. Since 4K projectors are much more expensive, I had high expectations. This projector does offer better resolution, with sharper and more detailed images. However, the difference was not as big as I had hoped. I also noticed the colours were not perfect. I might be able to fix this with some manual adjustments, but I expected the default settings to be better. Colours with HDR are much better, just remember increase the brightness to 0 for best results. If you are upgrading from a good Full HD projector, I recommend lowering your expectations a little to avoid being disappointed. Before buying this projector, I tried others, including an Anker Nebula and an Optoma. Both were larger and heavier, and the Optoma had a very loud fan. Compared to those, this projector is much better. It is smaller, lighter, and the fan is nice and quiet. The picture is bright and clear, which is great for watching movies. It does not have built-in smart features or speakers, but I prefer it that way. External speakers and a smart stick do a better job, and this projector focuses on what it should — giving a great picture. There are other features I really like. It has an audio output, which my old Epson projector did not have, so I no longer need an HDMI splitter. The HDMI-CEC works well with my smart stick. The adjustable feet, zoom, and lens tilt make it easy to set up anywhere. For example, I keep my projector on a shelf behind my bed. Other projectors I tried projected too high, and I could not adjust them to point at my screen properly. This one is much easier to position.I have not used it for gaming yet, but it has been great for watching movies. Overall, it is a good upgrade, but make sure you do not expect a huge jump in quality compared to a high-end Full HD projector.

Phenomenal Projector - day or night.
The performance of this projector matches its price tag, during the day or night. The picture quality is superb , I would recommend a proper projector screen fixed if you don’t intend to go portable, however we’ve opted to get a 100” portable screen that we can move fairly easy into the garden and take the project camping with us.As other have said - the sound is not good, but get a 3.5mm headphone speaker and it’s as good as the money your willing to invest in a speaker.I’ve played CODM from my iPhone 15 pro max and it’s flawless, speed is fast, switching weapons is crisp and no motion blur. Biggest drama in that setup is needing to be physically connected for that, but in theory I could use a wireless controller.I personally used my phone to start but found unless you used a genuine apple dongle some apps didn’t work like Sky and Disney very well. So I opted during Prime day to get a 1080p firestick which works really well. At some point I may upgrade to the 4K stick, but our issue is that mostly the tv will stream from my phones network via hotspot to the stick, so streaming 4K would churn through data.Overall , when you actually pause to think about it, it’s a size adjustable 4K telly that can go anywhere you want, which is perfect. People will drop 500-1000 on a tv that will sit in the same spot for years and get replaced - invest in a decent projector instead!

Great, sharp image
After trying a few projectors I settled on this model.Overall very happy with the projector for the amount paid (~£1200)Using it with a 100" screen @ 1.81m awayPositivesGreat, sharp image, easy to set up.Vertical lens shift, mechanical zoom & focus and 3 adjustable feet make lining up the image easy.It is bright enough to not have to be in a light controlled room (I sometimes have curtains open during day or lamp on at night and it is still very usable even on eco mode). It is not nearly as loud as previous lamp projectors I have used (due to being a laser projector).Capable of upto 1080p@240hz, 1440p@120hz or 4k@60hz making it great for all types of gaming.Well built and looks good (though would have preferred it in black like the RGB model)NegativesNo HDMI 2.1. I wish this had a HDMI 2.1 port so it would play nice with my Q990D soundbar's ARC passthrough port. It would probably also allow Atmos through the projectors ARC passthrough which it currently does not- meaning I need to run one HDMI from PC to projector and another from PC to soundbar which works fine but gives me 2 phantom screens on my PC when not using the projector. -Also, the phantom screen persists even when projector is turned off.No smart features at all. No Wifi or ethernet so any updates would need to be done through USB.No bluetoothImage correction settings - keystone etc- are disabled if you activate 'Ultra low latency' mode (but this seems to be standard for most projectors)No 'Silent' mode option like you get with other projectors.Menu and remote both look very dated but are functional.A better audio out port (optical/full RCA jacks) would have been nice instead of the 3.5mm single portThe 3 adjustable feet could be a bit bigger just to add a bit more stabilityNo auto-focus/keystone/corner correction
