I have been using this Electric Kettle from Agaro for over 9 months. I bought it just before birth of my baby. I am writing this review after over 9 months of rigorous practical personal usage.First talk about Cons1. Cost: The Agaro kettle offered multiple features for which cost was considered OK. However for electric kettle per say it is high.2. Cord Length: The power cord is about 0.5 meter just sufficient to keep kettle on adjacent table. It was not an issue for me.3. Opening Mechanism: The opening mechanism is difficult to operate first time even with instructions, but necessary for safety. First time I operated opening closing 10 times and made a muscle memory. This may be the only almost deal breaker.4. Overflow if overfilled: If overfilled above max level the water boils and spills 10-20 drops from the vent over the cover. Not an issue per say.PROS1. Reliable: For rigorous usage over 9 months no issue was observed. I didn't think what will happen if it stopped working and it never malfunctioned even once. This is the most Reliable Electric Kettle I have ever used.2. Instructions and Marking: Very clear Instructions and nice Markings for usage.3. Portable: Very small and compact. Keep it in any Bag or Trolley.4. Usable anywhere: I used it at home, guest houses and even in train. Note using it in train may not be permitted and it took up to 45 minutes to boil in AC coach, but it works anyways.5. Easy to Use: Power On and select functions.6. Easy to Clean: Wide opening, easy access to cleaning. For deposits, just boil it once with white vinegar and then clean it.7. Chlorine function: Keeps boiling on for additional 3 minutes removes dissolved gases if any. I often used this instead of Boil function.8. Temperature Sensor and Custom Temperature setting: Boil water and cool it down. When required warm to required temperature. I often stopped it manually with Temperature display.Please note I have used it only for boiling water.I would recommend new parents and would be parents to try it once and you will come to love it.

AGARO Delite Portable Electric Kettle is a very good product. Its looks are quite impressive. Functionality wise it is superb. It is easy to use. Tea, Coffee and Meggi can be cooked very easily. This is my office business. After sales service is very good. When my product got damaged, Ms Payel Ghosh, customer support gave me full support and got it returned quickly, which I did not even expect.

Boil water option worked only first time, from second item itself it stopped working

The media could not be loaded. Its one of the best product while you are travelling . I live in a very cold country as i study abroad and i cannot carry water because I have to stay out from morning 7 and get back at 7 night. But you can buy watter from outside cold water . So this agaro portable water heater solves the problem. Then i can make green tea or coffee or hot chocolate on the go . Yes just be careful while washing . Wash it by hand don't put it inside dishwasher. I am using this since last 2 years or may be more . The best part is you can heat you coffee to the perfect temperature you want.

Even though the product has many positive features, there is one major design flaw, which rendered it useless to me, hence the 3 star rating.Pros: the functionality, the features, the looks, the size and the concept itself. It does the job very well. It is great for travel, BUT ...Cons: I took it along to the UK and to my utter dismay, after two days, the lid wouldn't close. Unless the lid closes, the kettle wouldn't turn on. I tried everything. And then gave up trying, as I didn't want to damage the product. For the record, the temperature there then was around 10 degrees. Once back in India, I tried again, but the lid still wouldn't close. So I registered a complaint over email.Service: I received a reply for my mail and a call promptly from their executive, who was nice, courteous and helpful. But as I was travelling again at that time, I had to postpone the service request. I reopened the complaint on 17th December and was contacted again by the same executive, who did a video call to identify the problem. I was then offered a replacement product. Till this point the service was amazing. No complaints at all.But after that, it became very slow. I had to try multiple channels to reach them and still did not get any useful information regarding the replacement shipment. Finally on 27th December, I was sent a video and asked to try closing the lid once again. The video just showed how to open and close the lid, which I already knew, as I had used the product a few times in India. But I tried once again anyway and this time it closed without any trouble. After a few days in warm temperature, the lid must've become smooth again. The material apparently contracts in cold temperatures making the lid too tight to close. So I asked the company not to send me the replacement.For a travel product, I find the time taken to offer a solution to be too long. If I was taking a replacement, it would be a month before I received it, by which time, it would not be of use to me.So to cut the long story short - it is a great travel companion, if you don't plan to take it to cold regions.In other words, a great product with a serious flaw (assuming that I did not receive the one flawed piece). Good and helpful service executives, but long waiting period for service.
