First time trying a Neweer V mount battery. Overall the battery is great. Critical problem. The DTap socket is loose. I tried multiple Dtap cables, Charger etc . None of them fit snugly. Not sure if its limited to the piece i was sent or its the Neweer line. Have written to seller. Awaiting response3/20/2024: Seller send me a new battery which did not have the loose DTap socket issue and even offered me a partial refund. Very responsive/reliable seller

This is a great budget v mount. I really love the value. The only thing is it sometimes won't power on. It makes this weird screeching sound & the screen stays blank. I sent one back & got a replacement & didn't have the issue for about a month, I have 3. Before a shoot this weekend 1 of the 3 did the same thing. I tried everything to get it back going but nothing was working. I figured I'd try to drain the battery thru the D-tap & hope it would reset itself. I plugged a monitor into it & let it run while I went to the shoot with the other 2. When I returned I pressed the power button on the battery & it came on & read 0%. So it's working as it should again.Other than that they're the best price for what they offer in features. Overall I'm happy with them but if I only had 1 I wouldn't be able to trust it to perform every time.
