Brilliant
Bought this last year at a very good price. Installed it a few months ago. If you are skeptical about having a lay-z-spa like me then don’t be it is fantastic. This one has the inflatable loungers which is just wonderful. The majority of the time it’s just 2 in it however 6 of us have been in it.

This hot tub worked for 2 months stopped working and Lay Z Spa are trying to ignore my complaints
there is a saying, 'buy cheap buy twice' I bought this hot tub last August from Amazon. It worked really well at first. Then we put it into storage for the winter got it out 3 weeks ago. The pump just keeps saying E08 error. I have made umpteen email appeals to the manufacturer and they are doing everything they can to ignore their statutory duties. They are ignoring my complaint and I'm now getting p1ssed off with Amazon too. So, this is my advice... do not buy a hot tub from Lazy Spa. they have exceedingly poor after sales service. The pump is not fit for purpose. But they've got my money and don't give a damn. Go to Costco, who know how to treat customers.

Great Spa
Excellent spa. Love the hydro jets. Fairly easy to maintain but need to watch the chlorine level.

Problems to know about
I was not able to fit the LED lights and when I requested help from the seller I was directed to the manufactures; no attempt was made to assist me. The jets on this spa bath are very disappointing and in my opinion do not add any value to the product. Please also note that the seller will not accept a return once the product has been used.

Hot tub
So lovely and refreshing! Cover with insulation in winter, as it shouldn't be exposed to temps below -4* !

Great hottub, enjoyable and comfortable - but doesnt last well
tldr; great hottub, enjoyable, comfortable, but doesnt last well.Bought in 2018, so 3 summers later :-Summer 2018 : Worked well. Very solid. Very comfortable. Very enjoyable but expensive to run.Summer 2019 : 2 Clips for a pillar broke. No replacement available (lay z spa recommend a liner replacement). The hottub was much more expensive to heat than the previous year, and when deflating the reason was clear. The liner was leaking and a signicant amount of water had entered the liner. 2 pin prick air leaks had developed at the bottom of 2 'ribs' on the liner. Clearly a design or material flaw.Summer 2020 : Leaks patched, and hottub back in use. Another pillow clip failed, and at the end of the summer, 2 more air leaks had developed at the bottom of different ribs.2021 : Leaks patched, and hottub filled. Error E02, with water leaking from bottom of the pump. 3 issues. The water pump had failed, the heater element seal had failed, and the non-return valve in the liner had failed. There are no user servicable parts, so Lay z spa recommend a replacement liner and a replacement heater/pump unit. Googling showed that a replacement Impeller can be fitted to fix the water pump (<£20).The heater element was cleaned (rust had developed around the seals) and reassembled. It seems impossible to fix the non return valve in the liner, so cleaned the non return 'mushroom' valve in the air blower - to try and limit how much water is leaking. This limits the water leak to a steady drip, so now have to top up weekly. So in summary. A very comfortable and enjoyable hottub. Sadly the hottub life expectancy is only around 2-3 years, and then only with some maintenance. No parts are not user servicable (eg replace a £800 liner when a small rubber valve has failed, or replace the entire pump unit for £500 when a gasket has failed, or the impeller has failed). It is hard to recommend as purchase, though we certainly enjoy the hottub.Lay z spa treat the hottub liner and heater/pump unit as 'consumable' throw away units - so if you buy, budget for a replacement liner and/or pump unit (at around £500/£849 respectively) within 2 years of purchase.Year 1 : No issues, comfortable, very enojyableYear 2 : Pillow clip failures, pinhole air leaks developed at end of liner ribs.Year 3 : More pillow clip failures, more pinhole air leaks.Year 4 : Failed water impeller, leaking heating element, failed non return valve in the liner

Doesnt last long, after sales poor
We bought ours last year from The Range. The pump to spa air tube (thin grey pipe) drips persistently unless switched on. We contacted Bestway, and they just suggested we try reseating it as the rubber maybe wasnt correctly positioned. We tried this many times and although it was fine when air was blowing through it, when turned off it drips and dribbles. Good job we kept it outside. When it was working the spa was nice and comfortable. At the end of the summer, we folded it up as directed, stored it indoors. Got it out, Easter, there is now a persistent air leak. We located the very small hole using soapy water. Bought and used the manufacturers patches. They stick, then 24 hours later you reinflate, and the patch lifts. The brown fabric has an imitation leather grain on it, so the patch doesnt stick 100% anyway. So we stuck patches all round the edge of the first patch, they lifted too. Reading the small print it says the extended warranty doesnt cover the liner. So last year I spent a thousand on a disposable spa. The new liner is around £500. The after sales care is not brilliant when you consider the price. If you buy it, just bear in mind it might not work next summer.
