MTR Paneer Butter Masala, Delicious in 90 Seconds
This was the first time that I had tried Paneer Butter Masala.I found this randomly whilst ordering another ready to eat favorite Indian Cuisine.I was interested mainly because I realized that it has the cottage cheese cubes (which I love) and I had been wanting to try one of the butter dishes. The taste of this dish is just exquisite, not too spicy for me, just perfect. I love it and now just wish I had found this some time ago.I might add that I have ulcers and this dish didn’t irritate them (of course I take medications)The amount in each package is 10.58 ounces or 300 grams. Now, if this is all that I am eating, it maybe a meal for 1; however, today I added 1 slice of sourdough bread and became quite full after eating approximately half of the package. So, if this is a meal for one or 2 really depends on the accompanying food to me.This isn’t really high in calories (the whole package is 22g fat) or carbs (whole package 14g)This little meal can travel with you as it comes in little tear open packs. It is easy and quick to prepare.I am not going to address value for money because I see only one manufacturer and seller offering this item so, if it goes beyond a reasonable price range, per me, I simply don’t buy.I highly recommend MYR Paneer Butter Masala

Quick dinner!
This is pretty good Chana. It is super fast to heat up. It has a nice blend of flavors and a touch of warm spices that are not “hot” or overpowering.

Teen & mom approved!
My 15 year old loves this brand of palak paneer so much that he chose to eat this instead of leftovers from our favourite restaurant. He a hearty eater, and finds these to be a satisfying serving. We buy them frequently when on sale.

Not bad, but also not amazing
I would honestly give it a 3.5 stars if I could. Its really very middling. Knocked down to 3 for amzn review since there are quite a lot of cons for me. Amzn wont allow half stars and I dont feel its worth 4.Pros:theres enough in the pouch for 2 mealsDistribution of ingredients is close to the advertising picture. They dont skimp out like tasty bite does. Although greens are a very dark color and not at all the bright green depicted on the cover. Think "cooked spinach" color.Very strong flavor that isnt quite like all the other instant indian meals. It has a sharper "tang" to it. No sauce, but more a shredded, oily, greens mixture. Like cooked spinach consistency.Lots of potatoes, but just enough greens to compliment the taste without overwhelming itNot spicy or hot, but a calm warming once youve eaten about half the pouch.Easy to dump in a bowl and heat for 90 seconds.Cons:Like other MTR meals, its very oilySmell is overwhelming when you cook it, you will need to turn the fan on for a while - smell lingers in the air. Not for those with sensitive noses. I found the smell unpleasant tbh. It doesnt really taste like it smells though thankfully.Very salty, bordering on too salty. Fixed by diluting with rice , veggies, etc.You will be tasting it for a while after youve eaten. Its going to overwrite whatever else you eat at the same time.Overall, its probably not something I would order again due to the strong smell when cooking. Strong scents trigger headaches for me.It is something that I wont have a problem finishing though, because the flavor is somewhat unique and its very filling as a warm winter meal. Definitely worth a try if you like Indian veggie meals, and want something that tastes different to all the other Indian pouch food. Its better than the 3* I rated it, but also not quite a 4* imo.

Strange difference from previous experience with product.
I have used this product before from an Indian store and liked it a lot, but the packages that I received from my amazon order are very different in taste and consitency, watery and unsatisfying. Can it be that the online product, though packaged the same, has such a different content?

Tasty, a bit of a kick, but the salt!
I love palak paneer and used to be able to buy it locally, but the Pandemic pretty much ended that. A few days ago, I began craving it and began my search, eventually finding this. I was wary---most of the prepackaged palak paneer I've purchased has been kind of disgusting. This, however, is really tasty with a fair amount of heat, which I like. The salt content, though, is outrageous, so I've put it away for a once every month or so treat. If not for that, it would be a big 5 star rating.

Authentic
As it says, it is authentic. Some may find it a bit on the hot side, but I usually add a little more red pepper or chopped serrano peppers. The daal itself is most probably masoor. The blend is very tasty, but a little on the watery side, so it may not be good with rice. I eat it like soup and sometimes have a small naan with it. One package is good for one light lunch. It is expensive, but part of that is because of the packaging. The company says that the packaging is designed to keep the daal fresh as it is free of preservatives and other additives.
