Practice timing and accuracy at home with ease!
The Billie Jean King's Eye Coach has been amazing for my kid who has been training with the eye coach at home. Taking the court out of the picture has enabled them to focus on their contact point, timing, and accuracy. (This is especially true because there's no temptation to immediately pop up and see where the ball went.)The Eye Coach provides the real look and feel of hitting a ball without the on-court distractions and has been much more effective than shadow swinging.I'd also like to commend their amazing customer service! We misplaced a component and they went above and beyond to ship a replacement part free of charge. Their customer support is outstanding!

Best Tennis Tool I've Ever Used As a Coach
I've never had another tool that improved my tennis students' stroke than this. 10x faster improvement. You know whether or not you hit through the ball when the ball fully falls forward, you can feel when you hit in the center of the racket, you can tell if you are swinging up into the ball hitting the holder itself. It helps every student recognize quickly what they consistently do and what to improve. Highly Recommend for any tennis player or coach

Surprisingly useful, it can definitely help your strokes. But it's quite expensive.
The ball placement at the lowest level is a bit too high, I probably should have gotten the junior? I'm about 5'7" tall. But I can definitely still use it.The trainer itself is surprisingly useful. It will help you memorize your strokes with the right form. One good thing is if you hit the training ball incorrectly, you will feel it and hear a difference since your racquet frame will hit the arm holding the ball.It is very sturdy and constructed very well. One thing to consider is the cost since it is expensive.

No Good
This was a very expensive product for us even though we returned it. It is very sensitive to hitting the "ball" in the exact right place at the exact right time. If you don't do that its easy to have a mishit, and unfortunately the ball support is not very well protected. Within 15 minutes of setting it up my 13 year old boy managed to hit the ball frame on the unit and snapped the frame and strings on his $150 Babolat Rafa racket. Not happy.

Helped my 5yo immensely
5yo went to beginners tennis camp on weekends for 6 weeks and still kept whiffing on a majority of balls. Didn't enjoy tennis at the time because he kept missing the ball. I got the kids+adult version. He enjoyed using the Swing Trainer because he could actually hit the ball on a consistent basis. Used it for a week before we tried putting him back on the court. When he got back on the court he amazingly made contact on most of the balls, now asks us to play! Works for me and my wife as well. Great product if cost isn't an issue.

Mixed feelings about this
I am a 4.0 player who doesn't get a lot of time to practice the fundamentals, with match play being my primary tennis time. I was looking for some way to help reinforce keeping my eye on the ball and making good contact through good mechanics since I just don't have much opportunity to do so on the court. I unpackaged the device and put it together, noting that it seems well made, but I have a REALLY hard time justifying the price point this thing is at. I expected it to be much heavier and sturdier than it is. It seems to perform fairly well after a few ten-minute sessions, but when you look at the total cost of ownership, factoring in the price of replacement balls and the arm (which will break at some point) it doesn't seem like you'd want to use the item as much as you should since each hit brings you closer to replacing a part that is very expensive for what it is. I am going to give it some more time. This was an impulse buy that I have a hard time justifying after my first impression. I had to give it 1 star for Value since the quality of the device's materials doesn't live up to the extravagant price point. Someone is lining their pockets with cash on this one. I realize there is r&d involved, but all of those hours should have equated to a stronger product.

Very satisfied with the purchase
This is very helpful and actually fun to use. I've basically gone from total beginner to decent tennis player pretty quickly from watching YouTube instruction, practicing at a wall, and using the Eye Coach and one other training "device". The Eye Coach I received is well made and very easy to set up. It's great to be able to get useful practice indoors in air conditioning, when it's raining, just whenever I feel like picking up my racquet and going into another room. I've seen quick improvement, especially in the one-handed topspin backhand I was just starting to learn when I bought this. I use my cheaper racquet with it so that's not a concern. (You don't have to pound on the Eye Coach to learn from it anyway.) My girlfriend is using it also now and is starting to become someone I can actually go out on the court and hit with. I don't normally take time to write reviews, but when had a question about my Eye Coach, (not a problem), and got great response/customer service, I thought they deserved it.
