I have used Avene's Hydrance optimale for several years. After trying a sample of "Physiolift emulsion" and finding it fabulous I decided to buy the cream version, which is for dry skin while the emulsion is for normal. However, the product is a total disappointment. It does not moisturize, you need to use a lot to go round and it smells chemical. Now, I do not know if the product is poor or if the sellers (Allens Pharmacy) did not sent a genuine item. It would be good if other users clarified where they bought it from.

The media could not be loaded.  Product expired and pump doesn’t work. It took long time to arrive and now I have to waste my time to go to the post office to return it.

Lovely thick absorbing cream that leaves your skin feeling very soft, a little expensive but it does last a while, the dispenser also reduces wastage.

Like all Avene products this delivers on results and price and does exactly as promised but without the heavy cost of more well known brands.

This is my new cream to use. 1 pump does my whole face. I’ve got dry and oily prone skin and this is perfect. I’m moisturised perfectly on all areas, no spots and no ‘shiney’ skin afterwards
