Laminate floor cutter
Fantastic tool to use, worked ok with 8mm thick laminate no problem. Decent enough end cut. No dust or noise. I always slowly pushed down on lever. Never tried cutting laminate length wise. I’d rather use a fein osc saw. The only recommend is use a rubber mat beneath it, so as you don’t mark your floor underneath and to stop it sliding around.

Does not cut vinyl - AVOID
I'm truly disappointed! I was looking forward to completing my DIY project using this tool.Easy to put together, looks sturdy enough, however the blade is simply not strong/sharp enough to cut through vinyl.I made several attempts, with as much pressure as I could push on the handle. I actually injured my back trying!The blade damaged the vinyl and could not cut through. I wouldn't mind but it's simple 12mm vinyl from B&Q, nothing fancy.I've already started the return process, I guess I'll have to do this the easier way and use a saw.

Laminate Cutter for 8mm or less
This cutter specifies depth of 12mm deep cut, but unfortunately does not work for that depth. I would suggest buy for 8mm or less and suitable. The cutter itself is made well

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - DOSEN’T WORK
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - DOSE NOT DO WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO. Brought this so called laminate cutter for 16mm cutting. As I had 12mm laminate to cut. It wouldn’t Evan cut the 8mm board I had to test and practice on? Looks good WILL NOT CUT YOUR LAMINATE as described. Also beware you won’t to able to send back via Amazon as you would other products????

It’s impossible to cut laminate with this !Even a 24 stone guy struggled, does not cut straight , splinters the wood !DO NOT BUY
