AFI Southampton Full Murphy Bed Chest with Mattress, Storage, and Built-in Charger in White

For pre-fab furniture for the price/with mattress seems like it was a solid purchase. We did have trouble with some parts/drill holes not lining up but company was quick to send replacement pieces. Over all not too bad to put together. Looks nice when tucked in cabinet and easy to fold out for the bed. We have first guest to try it out next weekend, but I did take a quick nap on it and it was fine.

This bed took my husband and I almost 5 hours to put together, then the premanufactured drawer slide doesn't work. The drawer will not close all the way and the company has done nothing about it!I I have called 3 times and had to leave a msg, no one has called back. I've emailed them 4 times and their response was to open and close the drawers again. Do not buy from this company! The product is faulty and the company is useless!

Great directions. Quality furniture comfortable

At the risk of sounding bigoted, I have had some concerns about product quality coming from the “Pacific Rim” and the directions are often lacking.Not this item! The assembly directions were specific and easy to follow. The first item out of the box, base unit, was well put together and sturdy. Each step made the Murphy Bed sturdier. Everything worked as it should and all items, including hardware, were there. When it came to screws, bolts, and washers, they packed one extra of each.I'm very pleased. Would recommend!

What happened to my previous review? Do not remove this review again, I will repost it. Every single piece came damaged. The quality is simply not there for the price. It arrives in 5 boxes, timed ourselves and took about 3 hours to unbox and build. In order to return you must repack in original packaging. Original packaging was damaged as well, there was no way I could return this item. It works. With the large cracks it likely won’t hold the 600 lbs it claims and expecting it will break after a couple uses
