Scalpicin Max Strength Scalp Itch Treatment, 1.5 oz.

A great anti-inflammatory, hydrocortisone in a liquid form. In the last months or so, I developed a sensitivity to 2 kinds of hair products: hair spray and spray-on dry shampoos. I only use dry shampoo rarely, but I've used hair spray for decades without any itching or burning, until just recently. Now I try to use a leave-in product when I have the time to set or blow dry my hair, as there are many which do not cause irritation. Hair spray is another matter. I only use that as a last resort, but in instances where I don't have time to style my hair, I may need to use some spray to keep my just past shoulder-length hair "in line". Anything longer than a buzz-cut would require some interference it to keep it from looking unruly. Rather than suffer the itching/ burning that inevitably follows using hairspray, I apply a bit of this to my scalp, and voilà! The Scalpicin blocks any inflammation reaction. Because it's as clean as water, there's no gooey residue like a cream would leave. An EXCELLENT product.

I've been struggling with an itchy scalp for months so decided to give this a try. I was skeptical about how it may affect my 4C hair but it didn't at all. It's a wet formula but dries quickly and doesn't leave any flakes, residue, or odor. Because it's a watery formula, a little goes a long way. My hair still stays hydrated after applying. Most importantly, it works and fast. This gave me relief in minutes and doesn't require me to reapply. I usually apply at night when my scalp is most itchy and usually don't have to reapply until the next night or sometimes the next afternoon. My hair is color treated (blonde) and I haven't noticed any negative affects on my color neither. This product has been a real relief for me.

This liquid definitely provides relief from an itchy scalp, and seemed to last at least a full day. It’s not attacking the cause of the itching, just giving some relief which is all I was looking for. Good product! I’ll be buying it again.

I use this almost every day. I started having had flakiness on the back of my scalp, and this was about the only thing that worked (ketoconazole shampoo helps a little, but not as much as this). The flakes are pretty much gone now. Other liquid hydrocortisone products are out there now, but I don't like the Nizoral one as much because it has a bit of a smell. I haven't tried any other brands yet.

Total relief. If I have scalp irritation- this is my savior. Don’t waste your time on any other product. This one works and well priced. I have backups of this just in case. Highly recommend.

This product is great to ease an itchy scalp. I just apply a little to my scalp and within seconds, I have relief.

This is effectively contizone 10 in liquid form. It does help with minor itch, but some may find that they need something stronger.
