I liked the SPD82 charger better since it had a USB data port as well as a charging port, but they don't seem to make that one anymore, so this is the next best thing. Works great with my Surface 5 LTE, took about 45 minutes to charge the whole battery from dead.

Does not work- waste of time and money

Used this adapter to charge an old Surface Pro using an USB-C cable I use for everything else. Works as intended.

Okay guys. I too thought many of these poor reviews were people not using an appropriate chargers or cords. No. I bought a Ugreen 100W charger, and their 100W cords and I only have slow charging capability. (I have surface studio with 1050ti). Yes, I know technically it's supposed to be 102W BUT I did the simple Volt times amps and the actual charger is only 95W. So, find a better option. But remember your biggest take away should be to just buy a laptop with a USB-C port next time lol.

I recently started playing around with my old surface pro 3 and couldn't find the charging cable. Thought this would be a better value than buying a new one. Works great. Tucks away anywhere in your bag and doesn't require you to carry around yet another charging brick.

Used on both a surface 3 and a surface 8, you just need to remember that this is not going to allow you to charge from a 2W wall wart. I happen to be using it with a 65W unit. But should work down to 35W. Charges and reasonable time magnet is strong enough that it stays in place.

The description says if you use a PD with this adapter then you can charge a Surface Pro 8 at a fast charge - they are incorrect! I am keeping only for a slow-charge backup.
