Really Good tasting Tea
I have been looking for loose Lapsang tea and have been trying various manufacturers brands, but it was this one that tasted right for me and was at a good price.

Nice quality
It's a nice smokey tea. It smells like a strong lead that you'd expect. Quality is good. The value for money is excellent. The only reason it isnt five star is because some of the shavings are too small and it goes through my strainer

Great customer service
I complained that it wasn't smoky enough. They gave me a refund and sent a fresh bag that was better. Can't fault the customer service and will buy again.

One to savour
I’m not an expert on Lapsang Souchong, I’m more into my red and green teas, but I wanted to try something new.Well packaged, the tea is fresh and fragrant when you open it. You can reseal the pack, but I put mine into an airtight tea caddy to keep it at its freshest. The instructions for brewing the best cup are clearly written on the front of the pack, which is useful for novices like me. For instance, I would have had no idea that although you want the water to boil, you want to turn the kettle off immediately rather than keep it boiling. And you definitely don’t want to reboil the same water (though to be honest, reboiled water isn’t the best for any drink). Note it’s loose leaf, not teabags. The flavour is smoky and deep, I tend to brew it weaker when having it black, and stronger when adding milk. (I know a lot of purists don't like the milk with it, but some of us do!) I have nothing to compare it to for quality control, but I’m assured that this is a very good Lapsing Souchong, one to be appreciated and savoured. Note it does contain caffeine, so I would have it to perk me up rather than soothe me down. It also contains lots of lovely antioxidents, apparently.Speciality teas are expensive, but for the health benefits and pleasure I think this one hits the spot for me.
