Strap looks like original Rolleiflex strap. Clips are good and works great.

It's hard to find straps for Rollei's these days, and these fit. That's the good part.They're not leather though, they're a crappy painted plastic composite material that will certainly fail more quickly than leather.IF you can find ones made of nylon or something else, do that. I'll probably end up trying to use the clips to some shoelaces or something I feel I can trust more from keeping my 80 year old cameras from hitting the ground.

There’s nothing wrong with this strap except it is not going to fit a 2.8 D.

I didn't need alligator clips, as I have a Rolleicord Vb which has post to slip punched end of neck strap over. I cut the clips off, drilled a small hole in each end of the strap and slit out hole on one side to attach to camera. Only the late model Rolleiflexes have fittings for alligator clips.

This is an excellent choice if you do not have one of the original Rolleiflex straps. Most of the originals have dry and cracked leather, so the scissors clips are the valuable part. You can always mount a modern nylon or leather strap to the clips, but that is a bother. Regardless, this Fotodiox strap has good clips, and they are secure on my Rolleiflex 3.5E. Highly recommended.

Had this for a trip to Niagara Falls. The a personal tour thru the soldier and sailors in Pittsburgh. Leather peeled away from backing after the Pgh trip. Save your money and get a really good one.

Beautiful Leather Replacement that answers the problem of the 20-60 yr old leather neckband. I use mine for the eveready case of my 3.5F. I don’t think it would be very comfortable without a mat for the neck- but don’t get me wrong- it is VERY COMPARIBLE TO ORIGINAL ROLLEI LEATHER NECKBAND.
