Both the gloss and matte are incredible top coats for my dnd minis and paintings. I’ve used this in watercolor paintings and it worked great! My favorite application is props I’ve painted and my minis. I love these sprays for any and all use!I just started using the matte on my minis and it looks incredible, but hasn’t had the time for the longevity test. The two weeks the mini has been used though it has held up great! It has a softer matte finish than army painter mattes and makes the paint look softer than it does without any topcoat. I love it!The minis I’ve glossed have stood up weekly use and transit for a year with no chipping or fading in color! I highly recommend this!WARNING: if you try to rush your minis and coat them before the paint is dry, this stuff will make your paint run!I’ve used this with the full line of army painter paints and many Tamiya Color paints and it has done great!

Very good for sealing and protecting miniatures painted with acrylic paint. Very matte finish, just like it says! I spray outside or in my spray booth and wear a respirator so can't comment on smell really. It is easy to use, just point and spray like spray paint basically. Dried pretty fast. Make sure to shake the can as much as you can, and also temperature of both the can and whatever you're spraying makes a lot of difference. 10/10 will most likely buy again.

I painted an outdoor bench green and it has withstood the elements well after I covered it with this coating but unfortunately it was quite matte and got rid of the nice luster it had before. I trade off I have decided to live with but a little disappointing.

Purchased a UV protected outdoor faux plant, used this as added protection. So far so good!! Sprayed evenly, little smell and great value for the money.

I started using this about 10 years ago and it has not let me down. The first time I used it I used it on watercolor paintings that I did that I really needed to protect. Then I moved along to miniature sculptures and now action figures. He goes on smooth and it dries very well. When allowed to cure properly it really protects your work and it doesn't smell very strong.

Used this to protect a large watercolor painting. Used several coats just to be safe. Dries quickly. It does stink so use it outside.
