YAMAKATO Gasket Material Non-Asbestos and RTV Gasket Maker Silicone Sealant Kit

I actually ordered this for a plumbing job, as I saw "waterproof" in the description. Being a single woman on a limited income, I try to do as much as I can by myself. I suppose the one thing you can count on when doing any DIY project is that nothing will go as planned. The seal that holds my drain on my kitchen sink had come disconnected. My objective was to use this to make new gaskets and reattach in. Well.... I could not get one of the pipes loose, so I was unable to get the old gaskets off. I cleaned them the best I could and just used the silicone to re-seal. This stuff is pretty messy, and I found it fairly difficult to squeeze out of the tube. It's very thick. It reminds me of FlexSeal. But it seems to be effective.

the gasket material sheets and RTV silicone sealer (3 oz tube) kit from YAMAKATO has worked well for my application i used the RTV silicone to get a seal on one of my battery tenders that the seal wasn't even, the RTV silicone worked very good and adhere to the surface very well. i need to change my transmission oil on my van soon and after this minor project im sure i will get good results with no leaks, i haven't use the gasket sheets yet but they are in god size and thickness for a small size gasket good to know that are non Asbestos. this kit is cost effective and well recommended to have if you have a small seal job.
