I looked for a long time for a smaller dish to store butter. This is perfect. Nice and heavy dish with a wood lid. It is both beautiful and functional with clean lines!

I’ve been looking for a SMALL butter crock and I finally found one! It even fits in the butter section in my fridge. The bamboo cover is great and makes a good seal so I don’t expect my butter to taste like refrigerator anymore. I’m single and live alone and this is perfect.

This is really a nice little butter dish. I like the look and leave it out on my counter where it's easy to get to. The top has a seal on it so it closes nice and tight but is easy to get off. It's super easy to wash and dry and looks like new each time. My only complaint is that it is about a half inch shorter than a stick of butter, so I have to cut about a half inch off the end of the butter and put it in the side of the dish for the stick to fit. Would rather just throw the stick of butter in the dish without messing around with that.

This was a great purchase. Holds up to 2 standard sticks of butter. Keeps them fresh and looks sharp.

The size is perfect however neither seal seals the lid snugly. Because of the seal I can't recommend this dish

Overall these dishes seem high quality and I'm happy. I thought I'd help others by showing pictures of the two with the silicone ring side by side with butter in them. There is quite a size difference...The largest fits 3 western sticks easily. The smaller one really only fits one and it doesn't close fully (not a big deal, you can just smush it down). I plan to use the smaller one for my homemade butter/olive oil spread and the larger one for storing open sticks. These are great for gifts too! I did have a problem with the silicone ring sticking to the side of one large dish when I opened it the first time and the ring tore. I am returning that one.

I was looking for a small more square dish to fit the Kerrygold butter I buy, and this is exactly what I was hoping for. Cute and functional! Very happy with this product:)

The quality is lovely and it looks good. The lid seal is excellent. But despite looking at the measurements and other reviews it is too small. I have to shave down the height of each small butter pat to make it fit. Even the large one would be the same. A shame as I think it will eventually frustrate me enough that I will buy a different kind. Otherwise all good.
