Rock solid equipment. Second time buyer.
I purchased this rod, and previously a 130-160lb version, for tackling large Yellowfin and Bigeye tuna. To say I am pleased, is an understatement. These rods are built like tanks, but with light weight blanks. They’re priced well, too. I doubt there is any competition in this price/value range. As long as they continue in this price/value range, they will continue to get my business. I like their work so well, I am also now considering other products by EatMyTackle. Fear not, these rod will do the job, and at the same time, not weigh you down. Last complement: my usual review is very minimal, but I went far out of my way to show my support for EatMyTackle rods.

Better than expected.
I ordered this rod and expected a relatively strong cheap rod. It is far stronger and better and nicer looking than I had expected. Highly recommended!

Very well made
This rod has not let me down. 10’ Hammerhead and 350lb Goliath Grouper. If you want a rod for extra heavy fishing, this is for you.

Worth the money
Looks to be well made. The rollers at every eyelet station maybe a bit of over kill but it looks good. The rod paired well with a Shimano TLD 25
