Great books for a beginning reader
Our grandson loved these -- he is working on being able to ready them all by himself (is in kindergarten). They are beautifully illustrated and have just the right amount of knowledge, excitment and fun in each volume. National Geographic should be proud

Age limited (<7)
This is a pack of 6 books on nature related topics. The text is written for Grade 1 (1x) and 2 (5x) - content / vocabulary - and tested by my 2 daughters (7 - with reading problems & 8 - excellent reader) and was bought for my younger one:Reading Difficulty:In terms of vocabulary and grammar, the books are- very good for my younger daughter with reading problems.- much too easy for my older one- I would guess, they are ideal for early readers and normal-reader kids up to 7Text Length:- I find the text length more at the lower limit and thereby limiting the communicated knowledge.- Even for my younger daughter, text length is at the lower limit- the older one is a bit boredContent / Knowledge:- I find that the content / amount of content is more oriented to pre-school kids. So, I am a bit disappointed and expected more.Summary:max age: 7 (content)ideal for early readers in the pre-school range (content and vocabulary).seems ok for late readers at the end of 1st grade.
