2024 New Super S5 Max 4G RAM 64G ROM with Voice Remote

I waited to write this to see - Had this for about a month now with very little issues. Picture is amazing, choice of channels is great, well worth it.

This worked really nice out of the box... I was a bit afraid after reading some reviews, but if you have any mobile app experience, its very similar. I did not get all these extra fluff items in the other packges, didnt feel i needed them, but I can see where a little mini keyboard and or voice support would help. I think the remote included has the voice feature, I havent tried it yet.It allowed me to access my MLB subscription that I normally watch thru the computer very easily on the tv. I don't watch too much tv these days, after years of cable, i was very impressed with the speed of how quickly you can getthru all the channels, and install spotify and other everyday basic apps I use. I might actually watch some tv again. The local channels 2,5,7,9, 12 etc all came thru nicely.Fast channel switching, nice to see all the cities news if needed via the local tv feeds... I'll probably add a few more subscriptions and start watching some shows

Update 3/27: most of the issues seems to have been resolved and I’m back to being happy with the Superbox, it does still periodically freeze. It’s bummer when it happens during a live sporting event but it has been working for us.When it works, I love it. I was beyond happy with the box for the first 3 weeks I used it, but all the sudden it continually freezes when watching anything on Live TV. I have to continually have to restart the channel for the streaming to resume. Hoping it’s temporary. I will update the review if it changes for the better (or worse!).Update 3/16/2025 - lowered to one star. problems continue and cannot reach anyone on customer support. Thought this was great at first, but decided to send back and try something else

I've purchased 3 of these. One for each of my homes and one as a gift. Through apps that you load after the box is set up and connected to WiFi, this effectively replaces all TV and movie streaming subscription apps. At least all that I need. Sports coverage is incredible. Instructions to load the apps are included. The instructions are not the best but you should be able to figure it out without too much difficulty. Picture quality is 4K, which is the difference between the blue vs. black box.There are a few cons but none that would stop me from purchasing. The user interface could be better. It's similar to a cable box. Adequate but a little clunky compared to Hulu, YouTube TV, Apple TV, Roku, etc. The remote has to be pointed directly at the box and requires long, intentional, pressing to register. I'm not sure if this is something that a universal remote would correct. Sometimes you will get booted out to the main menu. My guess is this happens when a lot of people are watching the same program, although I'm not sure. Sometimes, the video on demand takes a long time to load, and you may need to try a couple of times before getting access to the video you want to watch. These quirks are a little annoying but not terrible. I definitely recommend this product.

Instructions weren't clear and were very hard to read due to small print in the pictures. Was able to find some help on YouTube and got itnsetbyp pretty quick. Has a lot of channels and movies. And was well worth the money. Fast shipping.

So much entertainment in this tiny little box. When I seen this Superbox online I said that this is something I can really use. I ordered it from Amazon because I know they stand by what they sell because I wasn’t sure if this would work for me. They give you everything you need for set up. I watched videos online regarding this product so I had an idea on how it operated. The remote set up with no issues. The box is metal and has all the inputs you would need. The instructions could be a little more detailed but I was able to figure it out from my research. By the next day I pretty much had it completely figured out. There is so much entertainment. Lots of TV channels and movies. The picture is quality with no buffering. I tried to take more pictures but they came out with a blue tint. Unfortunately I have to wait to get rid of my satellite TV because I am in a contract with them. As soon as that is over I am dropping the satellite and I plan to buy another Superbox. I recommend this Superbox for its value and having all this entertainment in a tiny little box.

I bought 2 of these in December 2024 and at the time I thought that it was great! I canceled my paid streaming subscriptions and I was happy to be saving the money. It would always freeze periodically but I figured could live with it. Skip to March 2025. Now it rarely goes 10-15 minutes without buffering or freezing...depending on the channel that you're watching. I'm a sports fanatic (ESPN, Outdoor network, etc...), and it's become unusable. And for my local channels, there's times in which they're not even available. You'll just see (connecting on the screen). I'm an Engineer so I'm very familiar with internet speed, and that isn't the problem here as my internet speed is exceptional! My guess is that these boxes have become increasingly popular, and their (Super box) servers can't keep up. This is the first time that I've ever left a product review, but I thought that I should share my experience. I give it 3 stars because the Video On Demand (VOD) generally works ok, and there's a wide variety of content.
