Took about 15 minutes to install. All of the bolt holes lined up. The instructions were crystal clear. I have a 2003 E350 and this took no time at all to install and it was super easy. I was worried it may take some drilling, based on the comments. However, drilling is only required on the E150's, not on the E250's and the E350's. This was clearly labeled on the instructions. Would highly recommend.

Few things I purchase now are true quality. Unfortunately we now live in a disposable world as price rules over quality but not with this Curt hitch! I paid just a bit more than the competition based on the Amazon reviews and how easy people say this hitch can be installed. So happy I did as the reviews are correct!Amazon Prime always impresses me with shipping speed but I noticed the quality right off as the box was a superior quality than most. If a manufacture ships in a cheep box the product will be cheep IMO.When I open the box the quality of the packaging was top notch. When I inspected the product I was very impressed with the quality of the powder coat, the welds and the fit and finish was spectacular! Easy to follow Instructions included.The quality of the bolts and hardware also impressed.The holes aligned up perfect with my 02 E250 and with a helper we installed in about 8-10 min using a socket wrench.Very happy I decided on the Curt. USA made with pride you can tell...Out of all the reviews I have done on Amazon this is the ONLY product I could give a true score of 100%. I would not change anything! A perfect product and worth every penny!The only brand hitch I will ever buy after this experience!Highly Recommended!

This receiver was chosen based on other reviews, so I feel it is only fair to offer one of my own. This hitch arrived in a rugged cardboard box. I thought that was a bit frivolous at first since really, how much damage can UPS do to a large steel frame? Not only was the box rugged, but the hitch was wrapped in paper and plastic to prevent any scratches and scuffs. Appreciated, but unexpected. The hardware was well secured to the hitch in a way that it would be almost impossible to lose anything in transit, and nothing was missing. The instructions were spot on and it fit like a glove to my 2002 E-250. I used a floor jack to lift the receiver into position instead of trying to hold it with a knee or something and it worked like a charm. It is almost balanced, but if you put a ball into the receiver, it balances near perfectly. The installation was literally 13 minutes for me. It tool longer to remove the old bumper ball that it did to install this hitch. Getting back to that box, I broke down the box and used it as a pad while I worked under the van. The rugged cardboard allowed the floor jack to roll over gravel, and made for a quick and comfortable installation.

I did my research before selecting this hitch and I am extremely pleased with the product that I purchased. I have installed many hitches before but this one was by far the quickest and easiest to install.I installed it by myself in 10-15 mins. I am very satisfied with this receiver. It easily installed on my E350 van. The instructions were in english, specified torque and had a clear diagram showing all the parts. Everything fit and I was able to install it by myself in under 30 minutes. It would have been easier with help but since there wasn't any available I made due by resting the far end of the hitch on my leg while fastening the other end.The hitch looks well made with a good finish that didn't rub off as I bumped the hitch on the driveway. I wish I had done this 3 years ago when I got the van.

I did a lot of research before selecting this hitch, checked out a lot of reviews on the web and on some of the RV forums. Glad I did, this hitch is the bees knees! I have owned, installed and had installed, several receiver style hitches on various vehicles, and this is the quickest and easiest to install, that I have encountered. The hardware consists of 6 carriage bolts, 6 flanged nuts and 8 washers, thats it! It took me less than 5 minutes to install it without help. Main reason, is that what you see in the photo is what the hitch consists of, there are no additional brackets or hangers to install. One thing you can't tell from the photo, is that the end plates are 3/8th inch steel! Plenty strong enough! The thick, glossy powder coating should hold corrosion at bay for many years! I'm really happy with this hitch and can recommend it to anyone looking for a heavy duty towing hitch.

2005 Ford E350. All three pairs of holes on the hitch were the same distance apart. The two aft pairs of holes behind the bumper lined up perfect while the forward holes were about 3/8" total too close (The frame has never been damaged, but the frame holes were farther apart here). Tightening the bolts brought everything together without grinding any holes larger.
