Very Lovely
This is an absolutely beautiful Bible. I can't speak to the accuracy of the translation, given that I only speak one language, but it's beauty entranced my 1st graders and helped them to see the universality of Jesus' message. Also, it was a nice price, especially compared with the others out there.

Ignore those who say it's a Quran. It's a Bible through and through!
As someone who can read Arabic, this Bible is comparable to that of the CSB or NIV in terms of literalness, but it's written with the vocabulary of the Quran to help Muslims with reading. I've given this Bible to my Muslim friends and the AVD (Van Dyke Arabic Bible = KJV equivalent) they can read this one better than the AVD whilst the AVD is more literal. If you want to gift a Bible to your Muslims friends, I would give them both, but if you can only afford one, this one you can trust and it will reach them better without too much struggle. I adore this translation and the attempts made to truly pierce the Muslim world. Truly a blessed Bible Translation.

A Beautiful Readable Arabic Bible
Having read the well known "Van Dyke" Arabic bible since my conversion, this translation comes as a beautifully fresh and readable Arabic Bible. It makes the text so plain and understandable to the average Arabic reader. So many of the obscure texts in the traditional translation suddenly make sense. In addition it uses the Modern Standard Arabic that is easily understood throughout the Arab countries. When it comes to the names, it uses the form of names easily understood by non Christian Arabs and it makes the Scriptures better understood. The Scriptures are supposed to be understood by the average reader and this Translation does an excellent job of that, without any compromise in the accuracy of the text. I usually read the Sharif and often check verses against other Arabic and English translations and I find no deviation or compromise in the historic truths of our faith. This is NOT a Muslim translation, but it is a translation that Muslims can easily understand. It stresses the important truth of " The Son of God" without any change or dilution. Some Arabic speaking Christians and Westerners object to the use of "Issa" instead of "Yasou' " of the traditional translations, but often this objection is usually based on tradition and personal preference rather than accuracy of the translation. After all, the sound of the English proper name of "Jesus" or the Spanish "Jesús" is totally different from the Hebrew that sounds: "yeshua"!I greatly recommend this translation to anyone who reads Arabic and especially those who come from a Muslim background. I continue to read it myself( and also my wife) and share it with my Muslims friends.
