It is located above accelerator pedal. Takes some patience, i aligned the cog to accept the new motor, and installed it. It has been working just fine, and quiet operation too.

Fits as expected

Was installed the day after I got it. Just over three weeks in, operated maybe a dozen times, and stopped working and stuck in defrost position. This is the second after market actuator tried from two different suppliers. The first one lasted longer. I will be going to Delco this time. The original OEM Delco part lasted 10 times longer so is obviously worth the extra cost.

The quality of the plastic and gears is there, my only downside is the amount of adjusting I had to do of the gears to get them to be properly lined with the white half gear piece under the dash of my grandpas 2000 Silverado (part fits from 99-13’s but companies won’t say that so they can charge more for newer things) but otherwise it worked like factory !

Not so easy to install, but being a mechanic those are the things we do.

It is all plastic, and it is hard to find any that aren't. I wish at least the cog was made out of steel because it would last longer. It does require a special size socket - 5.5mm.It works and does the job it is supposed to do.

Had heat at feet. Needed heat on windshield. Truck was fogging up, couldnt see. Wife and daughter were mad (scared I couldnt see) at me. Ordered this up, price beat napa. Installed, no fog, wife was appreciative, I can see clearly now. WIN!
