Don’t be fooled by the mass of material
I bought these as I’ve reached that stage in life where thongs can only be used as floss material. I love big Bridget pants but struggle to find ones that don’t look like they’re part of a jump suit for geriatrics. These were really cheap for six pairs. The size look humongous when you unpack them and I pondered giving them as maternity pants to my daughter. However, once they’re on, they’re ok. The leg is well cut and the waist band doesn’t go anywhere near my belly button, unlike some that have been reviewed. So either I have a different cut or a bigger belly !Sizing is on the smaller side, so a 16-18 is definitely more a 16. As they’re cotton there’s no stretch but they seem a good quality and well made. Definitely good value for money.I won’t be hanging them on the line to dry though for fear I may encourage birds to nest in them. Bridget would be proud.I’d say yes, buy them.

Small sizes
Bought for my daughter, her usual size is a 14or 16 but I got a 16-18 and they were way too small and thin not great quality material, can't return so the un opened pack will be going to the charity shop or they will all be turned into dusters 🤦 what a waste of money

Excellent I highly recommend
Best knickers I’ve brought in a long time they are comfortable and easy to put incontinance pads in nice and stretchy and look good I love the material and the come in a great choice of colours, and excellent value for money I’ve not washed them yet as I’m in hospital but judging by the feel of them they are going to be very washing machine friendly. I highly recommend as I’ve already purchased some more and will be getting some different colours next shop I do!!!!

Like a hug for your butt
This is not your date-night lingerie lol. They are very inexpensive and very very comfortable. I've bought two more sets already.SIZE: They fit snug, but other than that they are the biggest pants you'll ever own. And for some reason this cracks me up. Maybe it's the new lockdown clothing trends: comfort above everything. And these pants are comfortable like a hug for your butt... and your hips and your tummy and your ribs and your chest and your shoulders ... haha ok they don't go up that far. But they do pass your belly button.APPEARANCE: They're black pants, soft cotton, even have a cute trim around the edges. [Edit: The pastel shades were very dated colors. And for some reason I could swear they were smaller than the Black set in the same size. I would suggest getting the Black ones overall]BRAND COMPARISON: I otherwise always got M&S or Primark black briefs. They're both the same as each other basically, but the Primark ones fall apart after a year and the M&S don't.Do yourself a favor. You had to suffer 2020 and whatever it threw at you. You deserve these pants. You really do. Everyone woman right now deserves a set of these massive big comfy pants.Click and get em!

Perfect period pants or just pants, period??.......
I purchased these for that particular time of month when I just need my comfy pants on. The design of these knickers is perfect for that. Full brief, roomy enough even for a maxi sanitary towel but with just a little bit of lace so they still have a hint of femininity. But did I get what I expected? Well I've never been so confused over pants in my life. I read the reviews, some said they were too big, some said too small, some said they fit fine. So I decided since they were cheap enough I'd just order my usual size (18-20) and try them. When they arrived they looked huge, you could almost mistake them for a parachute and I wondered, am I really that big? So I tried them on over the top of my own underwear and apparently yes, I AM that big. I had to remind myself though that these were full briefs so they were going to look bigger than my high leg briefs for example.Strangely although they looked huge they were quite a snug fit, however they didn't feel too bad so I figured they'd be fine. The sizing on the labels was confusing however. The cardboard packaging attached to the knickers said these were an 18-20 to fit hips 48"-50". The care label on them said 18-20 to fit hips 50-52" so which one is it? Confused? Me too. Especially since my hip measurement is 46" which according to the packaging would be a 16-18 but these would clearly be too small.Since they didnt feel too bad on i decided I'd wash them, wear them and see how I got on. Instructions for washing were also not clear. The package label says they can be washed at 40° and tumble dried. The care label on the knickers says wash at 30° and don't tumble dry.So i washed 3 pairs at 40° and tumble dried them. They shrunk. I've put them up against the non washed pair in the photo so you can see how much they shrunk by. As for the 30° wash non tumbled dried pairs, well they shrunk too although not quite as much. After washing, non of the knickers felt quite as comfy as when I first tried them on which was disappointing. Obviously they were now smaller and no longer covered all of my cheeks (essential for period pants for me) but I'm also used to 95% cotton and 5% elastane knickers though so i'm used to a little more stretch in the material. It's a shame because I really do like the design for what I wanted and they would suit the purpose well if I could get the size right. Plus they were a bargain price. If I was to purchase again I would certainly size up to allow for shrinkage after washing and the lack of stretch in the material.Overall the knickers are ok but I think some clarification on sizing is probably needed.(Edit)Although initially I would've be prepared to give these another try and sized up to allow for shrinkage and lack of stretch, I've now changed my mind. After being worn and washed only a few times on one pair the lace has frayed quite noticeably and on two other pairs it has separated from the main section of the knickers completely leaving a huge hole in them (I've added a photo so you can see how bad it is)So three out of 6 pairs are now in the bin within weeks. I guess they really are pants, so I've deducted another star and I won't be purchasing these again.

Sizing is appalling
Whilst I accept the unit price is less than £2, compared with Sloggi at £6.50, I would expect that the goods would be fit for purpose. These were supposed to be 22 - 24, at best they were an 18!I suppose the old adage of you get what you pay for applies, however I will not buy or even consider these again.
