No bad taste or smell. Easy to swallow. I take one capsule before bed and have had reduced symptoms associated with approaching that “special” moment in a woman’s life. I can’t say they give me energy, but it’s magnesium so before bed works best for me.

I've been taking Magnesium supplements for an injury I sustained and was suggested this brand. I've used them before and liked their other products, so I thought I'd try this to see what it was about. Typically I take magnesium in the evenings as it seems to help me relax and sleep. But with the amount of B6 in this product I had a horrible time sleeping and spent most of the night tossing and turning. I definitely won't take again in the evening. Not sure this is what I was looking for in a magnesium supplement

The primary ingredient in this pill is "magnesium glycinate complex." Note that the magnesium here is denominated as magnesium bisglycinate. The key difference between magnesium glycinate and magnesium bisglycinate is that magnesium glycinate is the common name, whereas magnesium bisglycinate is the accurate chemical name for the same compound having the chemical formula C4H8MgN2O4. In short, both names, magnesium glycinate and magnesium bisglycinate, refer to the same chemical compound. This is the good stuff. HOWEVER, it is a 1 capsule a day pill yet the percent of magnesium bisglycinate in this pill is only 48% of the daily requirement. It also has a VERY high percent of Vitamin B6 at 735%.It is manufactured in the U.S.A. of internationally sourced ingredients, is gluten-free and manufactured in a GMP compliant facility.The bottles I was sent have nice distant expiration dates of December, 2026. There are NO typos, spelling errors, or mistakes in grammar of any kind on the label. This can sound superficial, but it is an example of CARE. A company that takes the time to properly proofread before printing their labels is, IMHO, more likely to take care in sourcing ingredients and manufacturing their product. Some vitamin companies do NOT show such care. Also showing care they provide BOTH an email and a phone number for questions.

I've been taking magnesium supplements for a few weeks now, and I'm really happy with this particular product. It's a great supplement at a good price. It contains a mix of magnesium, vitamin B6, chasteberry, and dong quai. I love the magnesium and B6 mix. The capsule is easy to swallow, and I take it every morning with breakfast. One of the reasons I added this supplement was to improve my overall sleep health. I haven't had any stomach irritation, which is a great plus for me.
