This book is very helpful to learn basics

This new self-study text from Lingo Mastery is a quite impressive in its thoroughness, clear organization, and practical value. It provides useful exercises in a variety of formats. It's for beginners, but it's challenging enough for intermediate speakers to brush up their Dutch as well. This book is a great companion to the publisher's book of Short Stories in Dutch. I like that it has focus on colloquial usage, so you are speaking contemporary Dutch, but also provides solid grammatical discussion for those wanting to gain a better technical grasp of the language. Good blend of pedagogic approaches to serve the needs of a variety of learners.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It was easy to follow, understood and gave me to insight of how to properly pronounce difficult Dutch words such has “school”. It seems easy to read if you have a strong grasp of English, but the sch- sound is quite different in Dutch.I have studied the Dutch language prior to studying this book but it was helpful to go through the basics again to strengthen my weak points. “De” and “het” are also a weak point for me since there various rules to follow when using either of them.Thanks Lingo Mastery for the assistance!!

excellent book and easy for beginners

The book is great, but I am wondering that where can I download or by the audio as in the book mentioned the audio tracks. I have tried to find on Lingo Master website, but it said that the audio doesn’t exist. Could anyone suggest me please?

The last 50 pages of my book is missing i just realized as i was reaching the end of the book. this makes no sense

Ce livre est une vrai méthode pour apprendre le néerlandais, d'une manière très ludique. Il permet d'obtenir un niveau suffisant pour s'exprimer dans la vie quotidienne, lors des voyages. La grammaire est très facile à aborder. Des tableaux sont là pour visualiser de manière synthétique. De très nombreux exercices suivent les chapitres avec les corrections à la fin du livre. Les fichiers audio sont téléchargeables pour la prononciation. Le livre est écrit en anglais. Les listes de vocabulaire sont très complètes.

The presentation is thorough but always lively, presenting real life situations and vocabulary. The exercises are fun, useful, and it is great to have the audio files available to enrich the learning experience. Very nice to have a fun book to learn with—off line.
