I searched a while for a new hairdryer, and after looking at the reviews decided to purchase this one. I was relatively happy with it, although it did have a very high-pitched whine when drying my hair.The other day I went to turn it on, and it kept turning on and off and gave off a terrible burning smell. I turned it off immediately and the smell lingered. I showed it to my husband (who fixes everything when he can) and he said to just throw it out. I had the hairdryer less than four months. Complete waste of money.Update:Since posting my review, the company reached out to me to express their apologies for their product, not meeting my expectations. They explained that they had a an issue with some of the hairdryers from that production time and offered to not only refund my money, but also to send me a new and updated hairdryer. I could not be more happy with their customer service. They were extremely accommodating and in a time when it is difficult to get a reply from a company, they went over and above with their customer service.

I purchased this hair dryer the last week of March. After 1 week, the hair dryer would no longer turn on. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. I have had this current hair dryer since the second week of April. It is used maybe 2-3 times a week. Yesterday I was blow drying my hair and it turned off and will not turn back on. My husband tried fixing it, messing with the cord, etc… nothing is making it turn back on. I would expect a hair dryer to last more than 3 months…

The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because:A) it does dry your hair (which I’d expect for a hair dryer)! AndB) it does fold up nicely.Beyond that, it failed all of my criteria and cost me 3x the price of my current hair dryer that has none of the issues. Here’s where it fails:1) super loud! I bought this because it said it was quiet. Especially when used without the directional nozzle, it is really loud and has a high pitched whine.2) heavy! I was attracted to the foldable design which said it would be great for travel. While foldable, it will add significantly more weight to my carry bag than any of the dryers I’ve had before—full size or compact.3) BURNING-SKIN HOT !!!! I would agree with some other reviews, that when not using the focused nozzle attachment, the air gets only mildly warm even on the highest setting. BUT, when I attach the “nose,” the air not only gets much hotter, the entire nose of the dryer becomes searing hot! Touch the metal strip at the joining end of the nozzle — and it’s worse than touching a scalding hot stove. Dangerous! (And likely a sign that it will burn out and stop working in a very short time, like other reviews have said).4) it doesn’t dry my hair any faster than an ionic dryer I have from over 10 years ago!Save your $$!! I personally wouldn’t buy this again even if it was under $5.

I received this blow dryer July 2024 and it’s November 2024 and it’s already stopped working. Not happy with this product and I payed full price. Not worth the moneyI liked that It’s very lightweight and worked well enough.Updated 3/9/2025The company sent me a new one, since they said the previous blow dryer had a defect. A good, small hairdryer. Some reviews noted it was quiet and dried hair quickly. I don't find it to be very quiet and it’s pretty normal in the speed department. But a nice, lightweight dryer. Has decent power.

Very disappointed having spent a lot of money on this hair dryer and have it suddenly die less than 8 months later. Ugh!!

I LOVE the fact my hair can't get sucked up into the motor! It's not as loud as your typical hair dryer, really like that feature as well. It takes an extra second to kick on after you turn it on and I'm still getting used to how to switch from cold/hot hair. The only thing that disappointed me was the claim that it would dry my hair in 3-5 minutes. I do have very long, thick hair, but it doesn't really dry my hair any faster than a regular one. However, my hair comes out SO much nicer and smoother with this blow dryer. Overall, I love it!
