I have been a loyal Nite-Ize user for more than a decade. I've purchased dozens of packs of their reusable ties, and have used them so much that many of them have worn out. The wire inside eventually fails and the tie becomes shorter. These little gems cost half the $ as Nite-Ize, and appear to be lighter duty, but longer than any that Nite-Ize sells. I was attracted to the longer, and more versatile length. So far they've performed flawlessly and I have purchased multiple packs to have them in my truck, shop, and barn.

We use these to batten down our umbrellas when the wind comes up. They last a long time and we highly recommend them.

That's it. That's the review.Ok, fine, they're as described, same length, color as pictured, etc. When I pick them up, they are distinctly, definitely sticky, like picking up blue Twizzlers. (Twizzlers are less sticky, but these don't leave sticky residue on your hands like Twizzlers would.) I don't like touching them because of that feeling.And to be clear, I am WELL familiar with silicone, and this isn't what that feels like. It is straight-up sticky, not like grabby in terms of just won't skid. Sticky.

When I got them out of the package, I was surprised that they were as long as they were. I guess showing them bent in half in the pictures gave me an expectation or something. However, that extra length provided something that I did not anticipate! When I coil extension cords around my arm (around my hand and upper arm) and I bind them on one side, the other side often splays out so much that it gets in the way when I try to put them away. Guess what? With this long cable tie, I was able to wrap the extension cord on BOTH sides! That kept it from spreading out, trying to keep from being put away like a shoving a cat into a box! I love that! Unexpected benefit! Recommended!

These wraps are fairly long compared to others I have and have used.I'd say this size is much more suitable for longer extension cables, or similarly longer cable runs.These are simply impractical for shorter cords like chargers and similar sizes/lengths.Quality is fantastic on each piece that I recieved.The few that I've been using since they arrived have held up just fine for unwrapping and re-securing the cords they're managing.I don't suspect this set to wear out or break down prematurely, based solely on how long my other, smaller, daily used, ones that I have, have lasted. At a minimum with these being on par with those ones, I'm sure they'll last just fine.

I am always in need to tidy cables around the house so knew these would come in useful - I just did not know how useful!I first used a set to keep the jump cables I keep in the car in place. The fact that I could use one of these to hold the cables secure was quite impressive to me.I have since used the others in the set to tidy up my extension cords in the garage that I for Halloween and Xmas, Not only do the keep the rolled up extensions in place, they are strong enough that I can use them to hang the extensions of the wall too. I am very happy with this purchase.

They're flexible enough to easily wrap around large cables such as extension cords, or groups of smaller cords if you want. The ends can fold over each other like you would with a bread tie, yet is extremely strong.I'm using them for extension cords, surge protectors, and heavy duty cables.One wraps my car charger and it has worked great!
