I couldn't figure what to put on the top of my ground mounted solar panels to get the robins from leaving their poop droppings on my solar panels. This did the trick!!!! i zip-tied long garden rods to the top edge of panels and then zip-tied the spikes to the rods. i couldn't and didn't want to glue or nail these spikes to the top edge of solar panel frames. Instead, i use the holes in the spike sections for zip ties to the rod. it works great. Robins are no longer able to land on panels and I no longer have to clean off the bird's poop droppings on the panels. SO happy!!!

It was kind of tedious to install all the spikes and in the end my fingers had some kind of blue grease on it.This was for a small area in the middle of our house that we share with our neighbors. It's an open space so birds can fly down to this area. The length of these were too long so I had to cut them in to quarters. Used Gorilla double tape that's for all weather and taped these down outside the ledge of my windows. This prevented the pigeons from standing in those specific spots but unfortunately, we have other areas that they found a landing spot before. Have to figure out how to scare them away next.

These are not as described, mine only measured 2.1" wide, not 2.5" from the description. Also both of my boxes were short 8 spikes. As others mentioned they are difficult to assemble, I have bought a different brand before that went together easier than these spikes. I do not recommend these spikes.

Some assembly required. All in all, fairly easy. The spikes insert into the holder with ease. There is a plastic cover on the base that sh I uld be removed. But I guess you can leave it to weather off with time. I removed the plastic film. Assembly for 48 took about 3 hours. Install on roof , an hour or so. And they work. Birds fly in and then divert at the last minute. Worth the money.

It's cool and works, but you have to assemble it yourself. Very hard on the fingers.

I bought this to keep the squirrel out of our property. This product is very well made. We bought some previously and the bottom were made of clear plastic. This one is all stainless steel the spikes and the bottom that hold the spikes together. However, it does take a good effort to put them together, which I don't mind for the price I paid. This is a great product!!

Placed these spikes on various parts of pergolas to keep birds from building nests. Has worked well.
