Great fit. 5-min remove and replace, if even that long.
Given the 10-zillion variations on a theme when it comes to auto parts, I was prepared to remain calm if the part didn't fit. But it did fit. Perfectly. Thanks for a satisfying experience. No instructions included, but none needed. Remove and save the one small Phillips screw. Pry the old part out with a flat-bladed screwdriver, or something similar. Press the new part into place -- duck soup, it snaps in perfectly and smoothly. Replace the Phillips screw. Don't worry if its not perfectly perpendicular, it's only there to spread the retaining clip. You're golden. It's a bargain!

The parts store didn’t have it
If you’re viewing this you probably have an early 2000s Nissan Altima. This item is affordable and simple to intstall. Quit leaving your hood prop untethered and buy this.The plastic matches the pet that came off of my car and seems similar in quality albeit newer. This item functions just the same as the original and should be durable enough to last for years.

Perfect replacement
This clip was a perfect replacement for the one that broke off of my Nissan. I was worried my prop rod was going to eventually skewer something important but I ordered this off of Amazon and it was the perfect 2 minute fix. I've not had any problems with it yet and I don't foresee any happening. Would recommend!
