Aluminum water intake valve
I hope it is better than the plastic one that I put in about 6 months ago. They sure don't make parts like they did 10 years ago. The aluminum look better and as of right now there is no leaks and looks great. With all of the parts that was sent with it, it was cheaper than the plastic water intake valve alone.

Worked like a charm
Perfect fit won’t have to worry about the OEM part cracking and failing then overheating my wife’s car for the fourth time tanks guys y’all are killers it’s a shame Chevy doesn’t supply the engine with usable parts

Seems solid
So far working great. Went in a 2013 chevy cruz, the coolant hose from the reservoir to the part seemed a little funky on the outlet side but I kept the old one just in case. 30 min install, probably shorter for a more experienced mechanic but good.

2015 Buick Encore - so far so good (use the existing O-ring for the top reservoir return hose)
So far so good. Second time replacing the OE plastic outlet. I did this myself in under an hour. The top reservoir return hose was leaking after install. I used the original O-ring and it stopped leaking. I'm hoping the aluminum will hold up better than the plastic. 2015 Buick Encore.
