The magnet is powerful. The switch accuracy or contacts cannot be determined without further investigation. I will need to install a temperature probe connected to a meter to see the actual internal temperature of the box. Wires with terminals are supplied to connect to your device.INTENDED PURPOSE: This has been installed on a small make-shift heater box to prevent overheating.RECOMMENDATION: I've constructed a small heater box designed to warm a small pet cage. It incorporates 2 ceramic heater elements controlled by a rheostat for heat output. 2 Industrial fans push heated air from the box into the pet space. This device has been installed to prevent overheating of the box. The Thermostat overload switch seems to be working as designed. If the fans are shut off, the box will overheat and the device cuts the circuit to the heat strips.As for a recommendation, I would purchase another if this one fails long-term. If it fails within a few months, I will have to re-evaluate this decision. It works as intended for now. I will likely update at a future time.

Perfect automatic switch for fireplace. Works as it should. Easy to install.

Installed it today, my old one fell apart in taking it off. This product worked, turned on after 17 min. And off after about 17 minutes. Hearth and Home fireplace blower. Thanks

Works good and reasonably priced

This unit worked exactly as advertised, turned on and off at the stated temperatures, and was very easy to install. We use our fireplace almost daily in the winter, and with this amount of usage, it stopped functioning within a month.
