Excellent Salt Replacement!
I made the perfect dish to try out this green salt—Oil-Free Vegan Spinach and Mushroom Pasta. I did have to use a bit more of the green salt than I might have with regular salt, but it was still much less sodium and tasted fantastic! No weird flavor or texture!!

Salicornia Salt
This product really tastes like salt. It smells like alfalfa when the package is opened. Not as much when it is sprinkled on a food. It is also pea green & looks that color when sprinkled. The texture is like a powder so I’m looking for a proper shaker. Overall, I’m happy with it because it has a lot less sodium in it.

great salicornia salt!
the saltwise green salt is quite umami flavored, but I cook a lot of Asian fusion so I think it seasons quite well. The contents and size of the packet is a good amount which is a good value for the price and investment in your future health. I’ve already tried the saltwise white salicornia salt which tastes very good on any food. I will buy it again!

BUYER BEWARE IF YOU HAVE B/P ISSUES
I was intrigued about this "green" salt the moment I read it was half the sodium of salt and better than NoSalt. BEWARE! The amount of salt they use as a base of comparison is 3/4 tsp= 340mg sodium. NoSalt is ZERO sodium. Point made.

Fine in recipes, not a finishing salt
This green salicornia salt is a nice low sodium salt substitute for recipes, but I wouldn't add it on top of anything as a finishing salt. It has an umami almost fishy taste to it and smells like the ocean. While this can work fine in a lot of recipe, it won't work as a finishing salt or in less savory dishes. If I was adding salt to a crockpot dish or a stirfry sauce, this salicornia salt would work perfectly. The umami taste would likely enhance a lot of dishes. Anything where you could conceivably add fish sauce or Worcestershire sauce, you could likely use this salt without it tasting off.

Tastes just like salt
Not only is it 50% of Sodium in regular salt but no funny taste like the fake salts!
