I like it but have to bet used to it

Pros:Bright light. Straight line. Fair valueYou can adjust the beam to narrow it to a very fine line.Cons:The magnet that is supposed to adhere it to my sewing machine doesn't work. My machine has a lot of plastic in it's housing.Secondly, with sewing, the machine tended to bounce a bit. With a light that bounces around, it's hard to get a true seam line.In a nutshell: good value if your machine is mostly metal, but it is canteleverd, making the fulcrum off.My opinion- pass on this one.

took a bit to get used to but now would not ever go without it. Easy to line up. Saves so much time drawing diagonal lines. Keeps you sewing straight. It is a magnet that doesn't stick to the plastic cases of most machines but I was able to tuck it under the machine handle and that holds it tight. Don't bother with trying to use the pads to hold it.

Works out of box, has a tiny off/on switch, electric cord very short, cross hair light is bright and clear red but does not adjust to pinpoint or line, it is not usable on either sewing machine because it is magnetic and the housings are plastic; but may work for the ironing board or cutting table. For the price I took a chance. It came without instruction or extra bulbs.
