It worked great for my daughter for her shoes for her wedding.

I ordered a pair of "cage" sandals that were too big even though the length was just right. The laced cage part of the shoe was way too big and my feet were kind of sloshing around in them. I knew I needed some kind of padding to make my foot higher, and found these.I used up the entire box of them, 8 pair, for the front and back part of the shoes. I cut pieces to fit each side of the shoe and several pieces for the front. There's a zipper on the back of the shoe so I had to cut pieces for each side. The back of each piece is quite sticky, but I added brush-on nail glue too so they'd stick tighter.Bottom line is: they may not be perfect right out of the box. Just cut them up, slap some glue on the back and customize the size to fit your shoes.

Heel pad is cushioned at the back of the heel, not just sides. It would only work for shoes that are too wide in the heel AND too long. I’d have to replace shoes with 1/2 size-longer ones to use, because the padding in back takes up 1/2 shoe size of space. I’m returning mine, but they’re worth a try for shoes both too long and too wide in the heel.

These fit perfect for my shoes. I needed something to protect the heel from slipping out of my shoe. The adhesive is strong and does not budge. I wore them and there was no discomfort, and they held up great! I’m in between a 6.5 and 7 shoe size and adding these to my shoes really makes them fit perfect.

Works well for very narrow heels, a little too thick if you just need a bit of padding.
