Great value, great sound!
We used these for the first time today and the sound quality is awesome! I really appriciate that these mics are color coded right out of the box so there is no guessing which control goes to which microphone. I look forward to many years of service from these microphones!

Heavy EQ a must
First off, we use this system twice per year for Christmas and Easter drama productions. To that end, the system is functional and gets the job done. However, I would NEVER recommend this system for regular use duty. As of the date I’m writing this review, the cost per headset/transmitter unit is only $87. Think about that. Would you purchase a $87 mic for regular use? Probably not. So we need to understand the common understanding you get what you pay for. This is not a Sennheiser or Shure system.Issue 1: heavy EQ is needed on each mic channel to get them sounded tolerable and without feedback. If you aren’t comfortable with aggressively using EQ on each mic channel, this is not the system for you.Issue 2: the gain structure is poor. I move the gain adjustment on the receiver just a tiny bit and it seems to jump up or down significantly in relationship to how much I adjust the knob. Also, two of the receiver channels has a lot of static noise when I adjust the knob.Issue 3: after using for two performances and one year, one of the units stopped working entirely so we are down to 7.Issue 4: the range seems to be about 25’-30’ max and within a direct line of sight. I initially had the receivers set on top of our rack containing regular use Sennheiser and Shure receivers and I was constantly dealing with mics cutting out. After moving these receivers up to the stage and plugging into a stage box I was able to eliminate most of the mics cutting out. But a few still did if the performer put the body pack on their side opposite the location of the receivers. The frequency signals are really that weak.I’m giving 3 stars since I understand you get what you pay for and the units do turn on and work. Well, at least 7 of them do.

Good sound for value!
Overall sound quality for the money is very good. High gain before distortion. Did have an issue with one microphone gain level was very low right out of the box new. Changed batteries and same low volume output from microphone with respective gain control turned to max. Will be sending defective microphone back for replacement.
