I picked up a silicone cable from Anker and it's a really nice cable however if you follow what was going on with their security camera division things get a little weird. Nonetheless I ordered two then found out about this and then as some of my cable started dying and I wanted to replace them I needed to find a good alternative that wasn't of that brand. Which leads me to this cable, it's a little bit thicker but it feels wonderful and it seems like it's a good quality. I will update my review if I can if anything changes. I got the one with the Power meter figuring that might help me diagnose some issues and be just generally handy. It has a nice silicone cable strap to wrap it up and I think I got some other cables from this brand and I like them as well. Something I wasn't sure about the power meter works in both directions at the power brick or at the computer. I say this because I got a power tester which only works in one direction which has been annoying at times, say about 50% of the time when I want to plug it into a device rather than the power brick on the floor.

I like what the cord is made out of the most. As a wife and mother, and living in a household where everything needs a charger, we have been through various cords. This has and will likely continue to last. I also like the function where I can tell how much power is being used. It helped me determine that the issue was a different product and not the charger once.
