Good starting point
Wanted a laser cutter for some smaller projects. Didn’t want to invest in a heavy duty cutter. Learning curve with the software but that would be with any cutter. For the price, couldn’t be happier.

Find a Better Model
I know some people has found success with this machine, but it just does not work well for me. I have been using lightburn, which is intuitive enough. The laser SOMETIMES can cut through, sometimes can't. It struggles on 2mm and above. If you lower the speed and punch the power up, it might chew through, but forget it if you want to do multiple passes. It can't remember its origin point for cuts, sometimes completely botching the retrace entirely and cutting half the design off.I watched the videos, and I feel confident that it SHOULD work, it just doesn't want to. I'd take your money to a better or stronger laser.

It’s not Bad
The media could not be loaded. It’s not a bad machine, but there are some flaws on information.I purchased in addition to the laser a honeycomb bed, cover and Lightburn program. The instructions to build the laser were vague. It took about 30 minutes to put it together. The program that was suggested GBRL was alright, but I ended up purchasing LightBurn instead. The use of the laser was very simple and I was lasting stuff within the hour after putting it together. The power of the laser was pretty decent I thought. It worked well on a few different types of wood and leatherette.I reached out to the company to ask if there was an air assist compatible with the laser and after three weeks I received an email asking what air assist was. There are no instructions on maintenance and I had to rely on googling how to take care of it and assuming it was the correct way. After two months I sold the laser to buy a more popular brand laser with attachments that are compatible.

Poor Instructions and Assembly Guide but Great Engraver
The media could not be loaded. The assembly instructions were very generic and did not specify I had to attach the laser unit. The pictures all showed the laser was pre-attached. And the screw nob and locking nut had shifted in transit so were kind of lost in the protective layers of foam. I couldn't figure out how to get the laser on until I finally found that little locking nut that slides into a groove on the side of the laser. Personally, I would have placed those in the toolbox along with the rest of the hardware, but they didn't. And with no instruction about attaching the laser well it was a bit of a pain. Then I got it all put together and after a day of it repeatedly running the laser into the guard rails, while I was testing the frame of an image to burn. I realized it was not my settings in Lightburn it was they had assembled one of the guide rails backwards, so I put it on backwards, which confused the unit and me as to what was home. Basically, the one with the mm markings they put the timing belt lock on the wrong end. So, when I assembled it, I put it on backwards. So today I got to take it all apart reverse the side they put the first timing belt lock on and then reassembled. And now I am getting consistent results and starting position. So, I really hope it did not damage the unit at all slamming into the rails as it made a horrible noise and even shifted the unit on the table. But that was thanks to the company having misassembled a key part. So that out of the way, the performance is great. I am able to burn complex images with great accuracy. The picture I shared was practice on cardboard and is only about 2 inches and it has amazing detail. After a couple weeks of practice, I have added a new pic and video of my creation in action. This laser engraver is awesome, I just wish it had better instructions on assembly and use.

Its is a beginner friendly engraver!
This is a very beginner friendly engraver. This was my first time trying to engrave something and there is a bit of a learning curve to learn the engraving software but after watching a few YouTube videos it is easy to pick up! Here are a few of my engraved projects so far- 2 pencil cases engraved. It is a very CRISP and clear quality! There are different setting where you can adjust how dark the engraved photo is so this machine was perfect for what I needed and at a great price as well!

Very Poor customer support and worst is documentation but product is good
I almost returned this product because I had problems with software Lightburn after I spent a week researching this product about 12 hours. I assembled it according to instructions, took about an hour which they included a thumb drive with videos on it plus a manual I figured it out. Like I just stated I figured it out. The software was another issue, although I am a retired IT tech and A Plus certified for over 20 years I felt hopless and had to resort to googling issue and further videos. I contacted Amazon for support which the person I talked to didn't comprehend english much pronounce words that could be understood, I recieved a link to contact manufacture which I did, Didn't get response. I Googled there number which recording stated is was under maintenance. Amazon should have a policy for vendors of these products to support them or discontinue on there platform. As a prime member I expect good service and support since I pay Amazon each month and expect the individual I am talking to that they have at least some level of English comprehension and speaking proficiency. As far as the product was concerned It was good but I had to figure it out with no help from the seller. I will not be purchasing from this seller anymore.

Love it
Everyone needs a side gig. Mine is wood. I love building things and being able to make them a little bit more customized helps me market better and make more. The set up was super simple and it’s so easy to use. Definitely a must have in any wood shop
