Very Glad, Affordable and Worked
First time ever using a sharpening stone and I'm very very glad, almost surprised, I was able to bring a sharp edge back to my blade. I have a cheaper knife and this stone is a perfect.I used perpendicular up and down strokes to start off the new edge, and then more parallel upward strokes (away from the blade) to finish it.

Good for Profiling
Cuts steel like it is supposed to. Honestly this thing is better than the DMT stones I have been buying. It is possible this will not last as long as a DMT, but the diamond coverage is even. With the DMT stones I have, the extra coarse is missing coverage along the edges and the coarse has giant pieces of grit contamination that literally nick my blade when I run into them sharpening. If you're looking for a stone to just profile or get a knife sharp this is a good cheap choice. I do not have a microscope or any way to tell if there is grit contamination on the 1000 grit side but from the research I have done, these stones do. So the 1000 grit will leave deeper scratches due to the contamination but unless your really trying to go to a mirror polish that is no issue at all. But for 18-20$ again this is an awesome stone that will sharpen a knife. Your basically getting 2 good profiling stones for 20$. This and a strop and your good to go. Ill update after I have had it for a while and see how long it lasts.

Outstanding!!!!
Apologies for the no image. This diamond sharpening stone (400/1000 grit) is real and absolutely the best. I opened the package a few minutes ago and tested it: absolutely amazing!!! Its a full metal single piece, labeled accordingly and accurately. I have multiple sharpening stones and tools but this one is the most satisfying - to me...The weight alone is a good indication that you are getting more than expected and the quality is excellent. I used a magnifying glass to determine whether this stone has any damage or defect, but am unable to locate any. I understand other reviewers/purchasers state they received a defective/blemished stone and feel for them. I am grateful that I received one in pristine condition. It took a few short strokes for the diamond stone to work its magic...Highly recommend. I would purchase more for family and friends if I knew they would appreciate such a wonderful work of engineering.Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts....

Perfect for my needs.
Works great and you don't need any others. The 400 grit side works to contour the right angle on the blade and the 1000 grit side does the finishing edge. Sharpened 11 of my knives on the first day I got it and it performed flawlessly. I have mostly good quality steel like Bench Made, Cutco, Kabar, Mercer, Case, Victorinox and Dexter. It also did a great job on my Old Hickory, Tramontina and a no name cleaver. Now my wife wants me to sharpen all of her kitchen knives. Maybe I'll just buy her a good quality set.

Excellent Sharpening Stones!
I love these diamond sharpening stones! They sharpen fast. I bought the 400/1000 & 200/600 stones. In retrospect, I need a finer grit to finish off so the 1200 or higher would be nice to get as well. My chisels and planer blades were badly dented so I needed the 200. This way I can move from 200, 400, 600, 1000, and higher, finishing off with a leather strop. If I had to buy these again, I would omit the 200/600 and go 1200/3000 or higher. They are very strong so go higher. You always need a leather strop with finishing compound to get that paper thin cut edge. You also need to get a honing guide to hold the edge angle. Kitchen knives need 15-22 degree bevel. Chisels need 25-30 degree angle. It is very hard to find a good honing guide. The Chinese cheapo ones are not very accurate even at $25 each. Fancier ones are easily $80-$130 just for the edge guide. I will be buying Chinese. Trying to maintain an edge manually is a sloppy and useless task. Get a honing guide, this is essential for chisels not for kitchen knives.Note that 1000 is as low as I will go for kitchen knives. Finish quality kitchen knives with water stones, then leather strop. Maintain knife edge with a good honing steel like Kramer Zwilling.

Good for price
Not sure that some of the grits are accurate but they work well. Some scratches/missing diamond grit on a few of the stones. Doesn't really affect usability but quality control is not the highest.

Worth the money
Worth it if you use it as a super aggressive reprofiling stone. Wouldn't trust the grit consistency of the 600 side, but if you use it to quickly put on an edge, then use other stones to refine the scratch pattern, it works great.Fun to abuse since it's cheap and replaceable, so saves your other nicer stones. You can also use it as a flattening stone for your non-diamond wetstones
