After canceling a few previous orders, I was having a hard time finding a genuine remote. Prices were all over the place, and I wasn’t sure which one to trust. I ended up choosing this one because it was mid-range and I needed it right away. Thankfully, it has worked flawlessly with no issues for over a month now. Really happy with the purchase!

The remote works as advertised. I noted some comments about it being "slow." My experience has been that there's some latency when I have my external sound bar connected. When I go with just the TV's speakers, it's as good as any remote, including the one that came with the TV. So I believe that problem is external to this product.I am satisfied.

Voice button does not work!! I do not recommend!

Like every other review has said, everything works on the remote but it will not update no matter how many times you try.

My kid broke my OEM remote for my Sony TV (x90k model). I bought this as a replacement. It does connect. It does not take the remote software update. It also does this incredibly annoying behavior where there is a memory leak or something like that and the remote will start taking input to the max. example: you push volume up and it goes up up up up to the max number. You press down and it goes to 0. It will also start having delays when you press buttons. The solution is to take the batteries out and put them back in. AWFUL. All functions do work after you do that.

This Sony replacement remote control from Dan's Originals is a good product. My experience is that the remote control, for some reason, is the most likely item to fail across time, so I like having a backup available for that sad day when the original decides not to work properly. This replacement remote works well, and is so close in configuration to the original that there's no learning curve involved in its use.The remote seems well made, as well as current OEM remotes, anyway. It's in line with Sony remotes in requiring batteries, unlike the rechargeable/solar Samsung remotes, but that's okay: I prefer the Sony OLED picture, anyway, so the remote is the least of the issues at hand.Overall, this remote is functionally equivalent to the original and works just as well. I like having it ready to go in case it's needed. I'm not sure about the price point, though; at about twenty-eight bucks, it seems a bit steep, but I think it might be worth it to get an item so close to the original (which would cost a lot more to replace, I'm certain). This is a good product, one I'm glad to have on hand.
