fantastic book, arrived when required and the description was spot on but am a trifle wary of trying to cast my first spell maybe I need more Dutch courage, to quell the hand tremors.needs a lot of thought

A bit difficult for me to read but I do have eye problems and could have done with it being in plain rather than a fancy font

I'm old-school traditional folk in my path. You know, the stuff that came long before the Gardners told everyone that you had to be initiated into their weird cult (clue: you can't become a witch; we're born and/or trained by other witches - usually family). You can't wake up one day and just decide "I want to be a witch" because that isn't how it works. Sorry, Wiccans.There are some pretty decent folk/herbal spells in here that I can use, but the Wiccan ones for beauty, power, love, etc... just a load of pretentious rot.Great for people playing at being witches, but not so great for me. At least I didn't expect it to be that useful; I just needed to refresh my memory on some very old herbal charms and remedies.

This book is a bargain , you may need quite an extensive range of ingredients , but some great spells in here , for the price I have no complaints
