This is a solid piece of furniture, with good storage capacity and stable to sit on. The wooden legs are nicely made, sturdy and simple to attach. Excellent value for money at the current price of £50, given that other models seem to be much higher priced.I notice that people have grumbled about the lining, and yes it is flimsy, but I have an ottoman sofa and it is lined with exactly the same stuff, so it seems pretty standard. Like the sofa, it's going to be filled with stuff anyway, so I won't be looking at the lining.My only gripe is that the colour I ordered - dark grey - is nowhere close to charcoal shade in the image shown. What has arrived is a mid-grey or ash colour, which I can see is the same in images posted by other reviewers. Although screens may show different colours, this is unambiguously different to the item advertised.

This little footstool is perfect for my needs, right height, right size and nice and sturdy. The extra bonus is the little storage area perfect for my current crochet project. In my opinion footstools are never padded as much as they should be on the top but that wasn’t an issue as my plan was to reupholster it to the colour I wanted anyway (no I couldn’t find the right size stool in the right colour and material) so once I had added some extra foam to the top and recovered for me its spot on.

Easy to assemble nice size and good storage space.

This is a good foot Stool. However, I ended up with lots of insect bites. It turned out to be infested with bedbugs. Obviously I have treated it and the home but that cost money plus I am left with all the bites.That said it is well made and a decent amount of padding on the top. The colour is slightly lighter grey than the picture shown for the dark grey ordered. Not sure why I thought it would look almost charcoal grey from the photo but it isn't that dark. I would class it as a mid grey personally. However it goes well with my sofa cover.I would have liked a taller Stool but the leg height is a good size and the height is a good level. It does feel comfortable to have my feet slightly lower than the feet of my sofa, so although I would like a higher one I am happy with the height it has.
