Of course, it is a cheaply made carbon monoxide detector, but hopefully it will detect carbon monoxide if it becomes present. Easy to install, however, be careful with the unit when installing batteries because one of the battery wires fell out of the base of the detector. It was a tiny piece that the battery must attach to so unit will work. I finally located the missing part and inserted back into the unit and installed battery. Upon testing, the unit seems to be working. But can't really complain too much because the unit was cheap in price.

Well, not much h to say about this. It works. It hasn't gone off but that just tells me, no Carbon monoxide in my house,

Initially I put this in the bedroom, but the LED flashes every 30 seconds and is so bright, I couldn't sleep. So I put it in the kitchen.BUT: I should have known, from the constant unnecessary flashing, the batteries wouldn't last. Brand new set dead just after the 30 day return window.Wrap your head around this before you buy: This is a smoke detector with a 30-day battery life.

For the price I'm happy. It seems functional and has a nice loud tone. Good value. Easy to hang and easy battery installation.
