This was very easy to install and worked very well in my small pond. I had been using it for a few weeks and was sliding the front cover off to rinse the filter when the plastic housing cracked. It is no longer usable and I cannot return it. Very expensive item to only last a few weeks.

Bought this to pump water from my stream up to my blueberries. it has to travel up hill for 100 feet to get to my plants. And it worked. the pressure is low by the time it reaches the plants . But I will be moving it to my garden area which will be about a 100 feet also but it will come from my either stream and travel down hill instead. Mainly bought this one to see if it would work and it does.I will be getting my another one with a bigger pump for my blueberries.

I’m using this for my waterfedture/waterfall and streams. Instead of running the electric bill to run a pump 24/7… this beauty is doing fine when the sun is out.I wish there was a bypass to still run standard power on a flip of a switch. But that’s ok.I do recommend a basket to keep larger debri away from the pump. Like leaves and such.FYI. I bought a 20’ long, 3/4” vinyl hose for pond pumps.. works perfect and elevation from pump to highest point is at least three feet with a strong flow still.

Larger pump than a lot of the stuff out there, most are about the size of 2 postage stamps so can't move much water. This is a decent size pump and moves plenty of water for my fountain.Do wish it had a battery back up as it only works in sunlight and even clouds will shut it off but all in all I'm very pleased. Not for a table top fountain but a real water feature.

I have had a lot of solar operated submersible pond pumps with my three garden ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii. I set this one up and had a problem getting it going so I popped off the end over the impeller. When i put it back on, it would not catch and allow it to work, so I used electrical tape to hold it all together. It pumped just fine in this quick fix state, but eventually the wet tape is going to give up I fear. Algae build up is always an issue with these and the new pumps like this are better, but being able to remove the impeller cover easily is essential.

I bought this solar powered pump to circulate water from a swimming pool through a solar panel and back to the pool. I have two 20' x 2' Sunheater panels in series and about 30' of garden hose in the supply and return. When the sun is shining I am getting 3 gpm through the system and the water is heating up 10-15 degF. Works well, I am very pleased.
