Excellent Tool Set! Unboxing Video + Reciprocating Saw in Use
The media could not be loaded. I've been a Dewalt guy as long as I've been invested into tools. Excited to see this competitive offering from Flex. I had no idea they went so hard. The 24V 4-pack of tools includes the following:+ Circular Saw+ Reciprocating Saw+ Fixed Speed Angle Grinder+ Drill Driver+ 2x Li-Ion Batteries 2.5 Ah, 5.0Ah Lithium Batteries+ 160W Charger+ Reciprocating Saw Blades 1x Metal 1x Wood+ Circular Saw Blade + Protective Sleeve+ Heavy Duty Storage Tool BagThe battery charger is insane, pretty loud but fully charged the 2.5 Ah in about 20minutes. This is a pretty comprehensive starter or replacement set for any tradesman out there, between these 4 tools you can handle most basic situations. As far as 24V Brushless toolsets go this is pretty solid value. Storage bag is great, easy to lug around these tools, I'd estimate it at about 45lbs fully loaded with all the tools/accessories.Check out my video to see exactly what you're getting into here. The frame that you see the reciprocating saw chewing through like it's butter, is actually a pretty legit aluminum-steel hybrid trampoline frame. This saw didn't even flinch. And for those reasons, I'm in!

EXTREMELY powerful tools, Very comfortable, but had battery issues
I received these tools through Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review. To start, I absolutely love these tools. They are extremely powerful, very comfortable to use, and top-tier in quality—comparable to my Makita and Milwaukee tools. I wouldn’t hesitate to use these Flex tools as a professional contractor, carpenter, ironworker, machinist, woodworker, or in any other trade.However....both batteries were leaking when I received them from Amazon. I contacted Flex, and they informed me that this was a known issue with a specific batch of batteries. They promptly sent me replacements and I was initially impressed—until the new batteries arrived about two weeks later. They were clearly reconditioned and had minor wear marks and even a little mud on them. I would have rated the tools 5 stars even with the initial battery issue, as I understand that manufacturing defects can happen. But receiving worn, reconditioned batteries as replacements left a bad taste in my mouth; it’s a sign of poor customer service. As for the tools themselves, I’m very impressed. I put an aluminum blade on the circular saw, and it cuts through aluminum effortlessly—it's now the most powerful saw I own, even outperforming my 15-amp corded Porter Cable, and my high end 36 V Makita. The reciprocating saw is a pleasure to use, with minimal vibration compared to all other reciprocating saws I’ve used. The drill works well but it could use a side handle to manage the torque better. I also wish it had a hammer function for concrete.Lastly, I have mixed feelings about the grinder. It’s an excellent grinder with impressive power, but I’m not a fan of the side switch’s placement—it’s too far from where your hand naturally wants to grip the tool.

Awesome, awesome tools!
BEST THING ABOUT IT: engineeringADDITIONAL LIKES: 24V power, feel, construction, battery timeWORST THING ABOUT IT: nothingADDITIONAL DISLIKES/CONCERNS: a bit on the heavy sideWARRANTY: lifetime (if registered in 2024)COMMENTS: I am so impressed with this new tool line from Chevrom (EGO, Stihl). Everything I have from Flew is high quality, solidly made and powerful. The tools in this kit are no exception. They are described in this listing and you get everything listed. Assembly is minimal and easy as most tools are shipped ready to go. You get both a 2.5 and a larger 5.0 Ah battery in this kit as well as a rapid charger. You also get a ginormous bag iin which to store the tools. I am especially found of the reciprocating saw and angle grinder as they are less common in kits than other saws and tools. This kit represents my 5th-10th Flex tools. The first iten I received was one of their tool chests. I immediately went out and bough 2 more storage devices from them since the first was so impressive. I have used Bosch, Dewalt, and Makita power tools to dte and I wouuld put these up against them all. The only complaint I have is that Flex tools arer so heavy duty that they are indeed literally a bit heavy. But, these are so powerful anf fun to use, you hardly notice unless you are framing or decking all day.CATEGORICAL GRADINGPresentation/Packaging: AQuality/Craftsmanship/Materials: APrice/Value/Worth: AFunctionality/Utility/Versatility: AInstructions/Ease-of-Use/Comfort: BMarketing vs Reality: A(Where “C” = Average)MOST SUITABLE FOR: Anything worth doing and requiring such a tool.IS IT WORTH IT?: Yes!*PRECISE RATING: 5RECOMMENDATION: If you are looking for a battery platform, I highly recommend Flex tools.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.)PHOTO INFO (photos are loaded in order, but may be rearranged when finally posted):1) Shipping box (a bit beat up)2) Interior contents3) Contents of box unloaded4) Assembled toolsOn a personal note, I try to cover everything I think one might like to know about each product, especially something not covered in the listing.
